What right does the United States have to tell Israel that it should not build in nonsovereign territory reacquired by the State of Israel in the course of fighting a defensive war? What right does the United States have to tell Israel that a priori recognition by the "Palestinians" that the State of Israel is a Jewish state is "unreasonable?" Here's a news flash: The United States needs Israel far more than Israel needs the United States. Our economy is strong, we are considered the top country in the world in terms of information technology -- there isn't a computer, laptop, notebook or smart phone sold anywhere in the world that does not depend upon technology developed in Israel and patented and owned by an Israeli company or individual. Moreover, did you know that approximately 70% of the chemotherapy protocols in use throughout the world today were developed in Israel? On a more practical note -- if Israel were to stop sharing its intelligence with the United States, you wouldn't have any intelligence at all. The United States' foreign intelligence is worthless. Why do u say I hate? Pollard is an American citizen that was caught betraying his country. What right does the State of Israel have to demand his release. He is an American and like I said before, the USA doesn't recognize his post conviction citizenship. If he was an Israeli citizen I would be on his side, however he is an American that betrayed his country and it doesn't matter if it was from a "friend". Please leave our American prisoner alone and let him complete his life long sentence in peace. First of all the United States should not be mediating any negotiations regarding any sort of peace deal between the Palestinians and Israelis. Secondly the Israeli government should in this case arrest, try and imprison all CIA operatives within the nation, which btw Mossad knows about.
