More than anything he has little that says integrity about him. Even more so than most politicians. He wasnt a commando, he never sacrificed much, I feel like to be PM you need to have self sacrifice. To me, Olmert sacrificed -or was willing to sacrifice- everybody elese. As we will soon see in court, hopefully justice wont be intimidated.

olmert is a pig and probably guilty of this and lots more, but, the courts are never going to convict him! Shula should be in jail for lying under oath regardless of whatever testimony she gives. Our courts are a joke and not a funny one, we are corrupt at worst, incompetent at best so let's save the money and forget the whole thing. Shula goes to jail and olmert goes back to knesset because that is where all of the real criminals end up...

I hope she spills all the beans and that Israel will be free of the Olmerts forever. And I wish he would be jailed forever. He stole from hospitals, from pensioners, from Holocaust survivors and more. His wife is further left than Peace Now, one of his daughters videos young IDF soldiers checking for bombs at borders to make sure that they're nice to the people being checked, and one of his son's ran away to the States to avoid the Israel draft.

Olmert called him one time while I was there paying rent. Just yesterday I called to tell him I needed a new boiler and I had one within two hours.... Point being : I have a good landlord despite his relationship with Olmert .

note: OLDEMERDE (the "envelope man") takes a lot of people down with him. Maybe deservedly so. Livni and gal on can visit him all the time in jail and tel him out great he was. israel has never seen the like of olmert and hopefully never does again. israelis were never chosen and olmert is the proof of it.

If you can throw a former president who never committed the crime of which he was accused into prison, then surely you can throw a former prime minister who committed fiscal crimes, deliberately attempted to obstruct justice and hampered a prosecution by destroying evidence into prison for a VERY long time.
