31. Reasons are not obvious

Case study: my wife and I are retired, pushing 70, own apartment, have pension, have grandchildren in Israel. We applied for B1/B2 visa - to visit our relatives. My wife got visa on the spot; my visa needs "additional processing" (pending 3 weeks already) as I "have scientific and technical background", though I have already held B1/B2 visa. I see that the logic behind those visa decisions is absolutely unfathomable - even do not try to guess.
32. HOLD YOUR HORSES FOLKS..

We don't have to like our current President (Before I get jabbed, I did not vote for Obama) but we do not have to be stupid. How many of you know there was a huge Visa row (which lasted for a very long time) with our last President? Obama and his State Department is playing from his predecessors playbook. There is more. Did you know that President GW Bush went bad on his (first campaign) promise that as soon as he took office he would sign the embassy act? Bush followed Clinton's precedent and used the presidential waiver to prevent the embassy from being moved. (Israel my friends is the only country in the world without a U.S. embassy in her capital) "As soon as I take office I will begin the process of moving the U.S. ambassador to the city Israel has chosen as its capital." GW Bush. LOL, 'chosen capital ' Two terms later and I felt deceived and betrayed and from that moment on I got smart. We Jews must stop being partisan (prejudiced by self imposed blindness and false promises) and stand together against our supposed friends, true foes and sworn enemies.
33. Still cheering on that Ya'alon stunt?
Cameron ,   USA   (03.29.14)
A bad attitude earns you a kick in the ass. Mind how you step down the road with us.
34. Admit Israel to the Union, its a de-facto 51st State already

35. #29 Illegal business practices
Benji ,   US   (03.29.14)
Discriminating against Israelis and lying about vacancies. Your criminal business practices should be investigated. And if you're really in the hotel business, you know the loss of towels etc is factored into the price you pass on to the customer. I suspect you are the one taking the towels and reselling them.
36. #33 The truth hurts
Benji ,   US   (03.30.14)
It does not pay to treat our only ally in a vindictive manner. But this is typical of the Obama administration.
37. Bad to run off at the mouth with the American patron, Benji
Cameron ,   USA   (03.30.14)
That comes at a cost. Would be wise indeed for the Israelis to avoid any similar episodes.
38. #35: The TRUTH really hurting you, isn't it?
snappir ,   israel   (03.30.14)
39. #37 US influence in Israel/ME
Benji ,   US   (03.31.14)
Is very important for the US. It's clear you take an isolationist view and consider Israel subservient but that suggests you aren't up to date with foreign affairs and the US position in the world at this time.
