31. A salutary lesson
Ian ,   Newcastle upon Tyne   (03.30.14)
This surely teaches that nothing should ever be proposed to Arab negotiators that can possibly be interpreted as a commitment....because it will be. THREE CHEERS FOR ISRAEL!!!
32. NEWS FLASH!
BUILD BABY BUILD!!!!   (03.30.14)
If Israel says no palestinian state, there will be no palestinian state. ADios pals! BUILDING MORE HOMES FOR MORE JEWS!!
33. Ok, Glick/Abbas Jr's 1-State Solution
Jersey Jew ,   Catalina Island   (03.30.14)
Clearly, Israel smartly keeps running the clock while keeping the ball leveraging her overwhelmingly dominant position. The Pals only recourse is to take whatever our USA gives them in a published "fairness" document in next 60 days like 1967 borders & East Jerusalem, then move to World bodies like UN & ICC. Personally, I've concluded that Israel will never willingly give-up her dominant position which is unsustainable, hence now strongly support Glick's & Abbas Jr's 1-state solution leaving the inherent conflicts 2resolve over time ...
34. When Obama will threatens
zelig ,   Memphis   (03.30.14)
It is only a matter of time before Obama threatens Israel with sanctions. And when that time comes,I hope Israel will go to Russia or China. Enough of the constant and chronic insanity of the American presidents.Enough of the idiocy.Enough! Enough!
35. the sovereign jewish state of israel
CJK   (03.30.14)
the sovereign jewish state of israel should never allow herself to be blackmailed by any foreign power to release convicted mass murdering terrorists. any foreign leader who demands of israel the release of mass murderers lacks all morality and cannot be trusted.
36. Release of prisoners
Steve Gure ,   Coconut Creek USA   (03.30.14)
Israel has not received any quid pro quo since the start of the process. Let them go to the U.N. They will not accomplish anything. To be held hostage for not going to the UN is madness.
37. Such insanity
James ,   USA   (03.30.14)
What country in their right mind would release murders back on the street for any reason even for prisoner swaps? This is classic negotiating with terrorists and paying a ransom to the kidnappers after they murdered your child. The US to suggest this is OK is absolutely frightening? It speaks volumes as to who's side the US is on. What lengths they will go to, to appease Arabs for oil. Bibi, you must stop going to the bazaar for your shopping trips. Israel faces an external political war and requires strong leadership. Red lines mean little when detergent washes them off the wall.
38. Releasing murderers?
Brod ,   USA   (03.30.14)
What did Israel get in return so far? More rocket attacks. More intimidations and threats. More boycott craps. More Anti-Semitism homilies. Israel should stand strong and say NO to stupidity and insanity.
39. Prisoners..BiBi is not too smart..
Hamad ,   Tulkarm -Palestine   (03.30.14)
This prisoner thing will eventually BACKFIRE.The Entire Palestinian population will eventually rise to show the world that they live a HUGE PRISON ..Lie the JEWS lived in Germany during WWII.. Just release them BiBi..Take a chanc.. and make it with out too much fan fare... and Go for Peace,. Both People want to live.....It is Enough... You do not like.Ther is always Jenkintown......
40. So right on! U get what u give+u don't get what u don't give
barbara ,   Haifa Israel   (03.30.14)
41. can anybody understand arab logic
zionist forever   (03.30.14)
Abbas has already said he doesn't intend to continue the talks beyond April 29 but then he expects Israel to give him the rewards that were supposed to come if he agreed to hold negotiations on the creation of a palestinians state. If Israel said to Obama we agree to hold talks with Abbas if you release Jonathan Pollard and then Bibi announced he intended to walk out on talks in April then nobody would blame Obama if he then announced he would not free JP. when an arab announces they are quitting talks but they demand the reward for talks anyway then its a fair deal and Israel is the bad guy for refusing to release the terrorists not Abbas who is reefing to continue talks.
42. #16 Both have taken unilateral actions.
Harri ,   EU   (03.30.14)
Israel builds more settlements and Palestinians go to UN. You offer your own solution that is killing more people. You sound so desperate that maybe it is best to go UN for solution.
43. after Netanyahu releases Yassin & 3 other batches...
Israel ,   Israel   (03.30.14)
of prisoners now he decides to be strong?! What backed up sewer rot is this? 1. Does Prime Minister Mr. Netanyahu think that all of us are as stupid as #32 aka BUILD BABY BUILD from Beit El? 2. Does Prime Minister Mr. Netanyahu think that we don't remember that he released Ahmad Yassin and therefore unleashed a violent wave of terrorist attacks which left close to 1000 Israelis dead? 3. Does Prime Minister Mr. Natanyahu think that we don't remember what the other terrorists he released have done? 4. Doesn't Prime Minister Mr. Netanyahu realize that we are tired out from having to carry him and his right winger fantasy? Time to stop and get sober. especially you #32 in Beit El...it isn't going to play out that way. If all of this weren't so sad I might consider laughing...but it is too sad we are witnessing the destruction of the State of Israel...and yet we don't want to see it.
44. #34 zelig
Albrecht Klein ,   Germany   (03.30.14)
The Great Pretender will do exactly nothing. Well, unless he wants to commit political suicide in the midterm elections in November.
45. @reply
Matilde   (03.30.14)
There will not be a third intifada, no boycotts, no racism, no wars! Abbas and Netanyahu will continue talks until israelis & palestinians become partners for peace, armony, happiness and all the good things both need as nations of the free world. I recommend to both leaders and to everyone who is following the peace process to avoid hostilities and comments containing incitement. Shalom Alehem, alekum salam.
46. Prisoners their land
(03.30.14)
Prisoners their land released last batch then hand shake 29th April so what about that?
47. Entrenched Conflict Cold Truce Best option
Zechariah   (03.31.14)
What would allow a cold truce to exist .A better life and more autonomy for Jews and Arabs in Israel. But basically A considerable part of Judae and Samaria will need to be A fallow zone only for survivalism for Jew and Arab a restricted International military zone preparing for the Apocapylse .
48. To: No. 39
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (03.31.14)
No. They are murderers and terrorists and are exactly where they belong. And if you think you live in a "huge prison," then leave. No one sent for you. You are the most violent people on the face of the earth. You have fomented six wars and engaged in nearly a century of terrorism, visited against Jews both in the State of Israel and in the Diaspora. We are sick of "Palestinian" violence, we are sick of "Palestinian" terror, we are sick of "Palestinian" lies and we are sick of "Palestinian" intransigence. Gee! Looks like we are sick of you. And you know what? We won all the wars, and we kicked your asses to the curb in two intifadas, and we taught you what will happen when you engage in violence and terror against Jews. Behave, or you will find yourself in Jordan. Because we are sick of you. Do you understand?
49. @45 harmony has an "h" but other than that I agree with you!
(03.31.14)
it is the energy that we invest in the process that will bring peace.
50. To: No. 46
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (03.31.14)
So what about Abbas recognizing the State of Israel as the Jewish State? So what about Abbas acknowledging the inalienable right to live in their ancient homeland? So what about Abbas recognizing that there is no "right of return" for those who departed voluntarily? And what right does Abbas have to demand the release of Israeli prisoners?
