The vast majority of the Moslem electorate already vote Labour, that is if they bother to vote at all, so this investigation will have very little negative impact on potential votes for the Conservative party. I cannot recall the figures, but Moslems of all ages have very low turn out rates in UK elections. If anything this action by Cameron will be approved of by most of the electorate, including those normally committed to Labour who regard their party's stance on immigration and pandering to Islamic radical clerics with distaste.
