1. The PA signing the Geneva Convention mean Hamas rockets
Eric ,   Tel Aviv & NYC   (04.02.14)
Does the PA signing the Geneva Convention mean Hamas rockets are a declaration of war or just a war crime as they are against civilians?
2. After Decades of Usefull Idiocy - I Quote -
Arn. ,   Sweden.   (04.02.14)
Obama administration believes Israel and Palestinians need to work through current deadlock themselves. - the Truth has Suddenly Shone in Face of the Selfemployed Chambelaining Jerks ? Arn.
3. As if this US admin had ever accomplished
barbara ,   Haifa Israel   (04.02.14)
something from its beginning. I would be very wary to trust this administration with any foreign agreements.
4. Halleluyah
Norbus ,   JERUSALEM   (04.02.14)
Interference from Obama multiplied the difficulties and created new ones. Obama needs to sort the mess he created at home Don't come back Kerry.
5. What will Livni do now? Erkat, Ashrawi?
(04.02.14)
They should all join Olmert Government in Exile: Ramallah Prison!
6. what more do they want!
jo b ,   israel   (04.02.14)
israel agrees to free 400 more prisoners (instead of the final 26) and a settlement freeze, and in return the terrorists agree to "negotiate"??? what are those palis conceding? nothing! what are they agreeing to? nothing! what are they giving up? not 1 damn thing! the fact that pollard is involved has nothing to do with the palis, they are not "giving" him the US is. at it should have done years ago, not used him as terrorist bait. this entire process just gets more rediculeous by the minute
7. In Nisan, Israel Will Be Redeemed!!!
yoni ,   Shomron   (04.02.14)
GREATEST NEWS SINCE OLMERT'S CONVICTION!!!!!
8. Who are the prisoners?
Andersen ,   Denmark   (04.02.14)
What's the crime of the 400 prisonners to be released? In Norway we had a racist terrorist, Breivik, who killed innocent civilians. He will never, never, be out of prison...even if entire Taliban and Al-Qaida and KKK teams up against Norway... Anyone knows the crimes of the worst prisonners up for release?
9. Both the Clinton and Bush administraton concluded that the..
N.L.Katz ,   Qatzrin, Israel   (04.02.14)
...Arabs were not interested in an accommodation of peaceful coexistence with the liberal democratic and sovereign nation-state of the Jewish people, the State of Israel. Instead, the Arabs were strictly interested in being on the receiving line of acquiring more and more concessions made by both Israel and the US, along with the EU, while never, not once, making a single concession or even accepting Israel's RIGHT to be, to exist as the sovereign nation-state of the Jewish people. When will the Obama White House finally reach the same conclusion that his predecessors did and instead of attempting to reach a "peace deal" with the gang in Ramallah that seeks no peace, demand that any accommodation will be strictly based on international law, on the fundamental elements of international law related to the conflict, i.e. San Remo conference decisions, 1920; League of Nations decisions, 1922; UN Charter, article 80, 1945?
10. Will this move no US funds for the UN?
BUILD BABY BUILD!!!!   (04.02.14)
I was reading a report that stated if the pals do this no more US funds for the UN. ( there is an agreement already signed to accomplish this ) If so, go for it and allow America NOT to pay these pal thugs any longer. Might as well close the UN inNew York and move it to Mecca. KEEP BUILDING !!!
11. let the Palestinians sign more documents
Jo   (04.02.14)
the Israelis get nothing but demand the release of prisoners ( who are then received as heroes though killers of ordinary people) and endless demands but the Palestinians themselves do not budge an inch, give no good will gestures, nor act with reason. Let them seek UN membership......it will not do anything but make them more obligated with no money and the endless donations ended.
12. a step back
(04.02.14)
The Obama regime has no choice but to "step back". When the talks reached a dead end due to Abbas' refusal to give up his plans to exterminate Israel, Kerry and Obama applied massive pressure on Netanyahu to surrender. Depite the pressure on Netanyahu, and despite the fact that it seemed Netanyahu was going to surrender, Abbas went to the UN in a slap to Obama that rivals Putin's "monkey with a grenade" and Iran's "we will rape your daughters" insult. Kerry is now skulking back to Washington desperately looking for a way to blame Israel.

All the convicted criminals that Abbas and Obama want released are murderers. Most famous is Barghouti who murdered a Christian monk (he thought was a Jew), a policeman (Israeli Druze) and 3 Jewish civilians. The AG failed proving his part in murdering another 33 murders. All the Arab convicts who committed lesser crimes like attempted murder and wounding people when trying to murder them have been released in the past.
14. Bus bombings and Rockets Crime against humanity!
Elan ,   Ramat Gan, Israel   (04.02.14)
Its so easy to think your hands are so clean in all of this! They are NOT! There is no way you can dispute that rockets and blowing up buses was aimed at civilians intentionally. It WAS! Contrary to popular Palestinian -biased opinion, IDF only attacks civilian structures AFTER they have been militarized, there is satellite image proof of this! You abuse your children with propaganda and fake world history. you do not raise children to live in a world of tolerance and respect such as is the UN charter, you brain wash them to be future foot soldiers! Good Luck at the UN! watch it bite you back!
15. # 9 It needed to be said and I thnak you.

18. America has lost ALL of its prestige and respect
Dror ,   Haifa, Israel   (04.02.14)
Kerry, don't go away mad, JUST GO AWAY!
19. The conflict has just begun.
Michael Pielet ,   Israel   (04.02.14)
The arabs in the end were always going to the U.N. I personally tired of this "peace" charade that has been going on the over 20 years, since Oslo. Sorry Jews, peace not possible. The conflict with the arabs has been going on got over 150 years. The conflict has just begun.
20. International Criminal Court
Anshel ,   Canada   (04.02.14)
it can work both ways, Abbas and his cohorts could be responsible for all terrorist acts committed against the civilians, including Hamas in Gaza. After all, Abbas claims to represent both West Bank and Gaza. He needs to be reminded in hurry, what is good for the goose, it is good for the gander.
21. REFERENDUM
Ed ,   Crimea, Russia   (04.02.14)
You guys need referendum in the west bank and east Jerusalem if the residence of settlements want to joint Israel. We did it in Crimea and it works very well. Good luck
22. Stepping back
Steve Gure ,   Coconut Creek,USA   (04.02.14)
The US has finaly come to their senses. Kerry still clings to hope which was never realistic. He believes that what he tried was working and worth the effort.
23. Israel thrown into penalty box, skating 1 man short

How about the Levy report? When will Bibi bring it out of hiding?
26. "it's fine mess you got us into this time"
tom ,   toronto, canada   (04.02.14)
now that abbas has maxed out any reasonable expectation of israeli concessions (thanks to extraordinary american pressure), he is kicking over the table. dishonest is as dishonest does. but it might offend the faux-palestinians if kerry or obama called a spade a spade, so they're being weasels, as usual, in the name of "impartiality". let the blame games begin!
27. Compliment?
Matilde   (04.02.14)
If you are polite and want to express admiration, then give a compliment to Abbas for his move. -apparently he had a plan before the peace talks started last july 2013. It doesnt matter if he now says he will go to the UN if Israel does not complete the release of palestinians prisoners, or if later he said there are no links between the release of palestinians prisoners with the peace talks. Thats what i call ability. Netanyahu doesnt need a compliment from the israelis neither from Palestinians for Pollard release. Pollard is not perceived as an hero among israelis, and definitely he was not smart like american Edward Snowden, and just to be nice.
