I would not waste my time with these peace talks. we all know what the Arabs and the Palestinians really want. the complete destruction of Israel , Israel to be driven into the sea , It's in there charter , they will never..ever recognize a State of Israel. The talks was dead even before they started.
2. Choices..useless Nobel Peace Prize, or repatriation to Mecca

3. Balfour Treaty was for 'ONE ONLY JEWISH STATE' not 3.
BUTSeriously ,   Sydney   (04.03.14)
Israel's Ministers must get real and cease entertaining Muslims as Palestinians or accounting unending 2-states in the same land as a 2-state. These are non-confusing genocide aspirations.
4. Why this so called impasse?
Sammy ,   Newcastle   (04.03.14)
Had a long conversation about that yesterday Its true that in principle Israel and the PA are VERY close to a deal But suddenly it seems Abbas is faced with the real prospect of founding a new State and all the responsibilities, the pressures the accountability, the various interests, the internal squabbling that brings.. Is it as many in his circle believe that things have moved far quicker than he imagined and as the reality dawns approaching our journey to Statehood these sentiments try to take hold Because everyone knows that the unilateral UN approach is NOTHING to do with securing Statehood. It is simply a way of stalling for time to get his breath back, to muster full support and break through this psychological barrier to sign the Agreement with Israel that the overwhelming majority of Palestinians in the West Bank and Diaspora support Every reason why therefore despite this setback - the lines of communication, the talking and trust building continues and the rhetoric from both sides stops
5. Load of BS
Gee ,   Zikron Yaakov   (04.03.14)
We are getting absolutely nothing from these negotiations and we have gotten nothing from the entire process. It is totally to against our interests in every way. Deport the Arab colonists from our land
6. Stalling the Peace
Jo Chop ,   Israel   (04.03.14)
The writer mentions the consequences for the Palestinians if they turn to the UN but The Israeli government policy of blocking the peace agreement process has dire consequences for the Israeli people in particular the chance for a two state solution and the eventual end of Israel as a homeland for the Jewish people. RBYishai does not even point to this!
7. Plan B, to annex Area C, a Zionist wet dream, "dwell alone"
Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (04.03.14)
...Apartheid World will not allow it, Israel will be sanctioned, and Obama will impose UNSC '67 borders.
8. Israel has everything to gain by ending talks permanently.
Chaim ,   Israel   (04.03.14)
"Peace talks" with the P.A. are intended to let it steal Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria from Israel and turn Israel into a 9 mile wide concentration camp. Israel has everything to gain by ending these evil talks permanently.
9. Prisoner release was predicated on progres in talks!
michael redboun ,   Lisbon - Portugal   (04.03.14)
And there was no progress!
10. Bad analysis, based on what the writer wants to see
Daniel ,   TA - IL   (04.03.14)
and not what is... for example, the eu will not stop funding plo terror just because they turn to the un! quite the opposite. Also again please explain what we have to gain from more oslo... except for more death and destruction
11. Compromise
John ,   Prophet   (04.03.14)
an agreement or a settlement of a dispute that is reached by each side making concessions. "an ability to listen to two sides in a dispute, and devise a compromise acceptable to both" Compromise, a tenet of Western civilization is lost on the Arabs where the strong horse wins the day. WHEN DID THE PALESTINIANS EVER MAKE A CONCESSION, EVER???? One sided concessions does not an agreement make. TIME TO WAKE UP PEOPLE!!!!!!
12. #3, Balfour letter not a "treaty", Bush letter to Sharon
Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (04.03.14)
...is also worthless. No one can give away land, in a letter to a supporter, that they don't own, in return for domestic political favors. Evangelicals, President George W. Bush, and PM David Lloyd George, abused their powers in trying to give Jews Palestine.

hedwig littlehand ,   uk   (04.03.14)
Jews believed the world would not allow Hitler to murder them, so annexing area C really would not stir them that much although most of the world is as hypocritical and racist as yourself

How is annexing Area C, giving the 100,000 Arabs living there Israeli citizenship, and letting "Palestine" be independent in Gaza and Areas A,B ---where 98% live, "apartheid"? You evidently don't understand the term. The US even under Obama, will veto any attempt to sanction Israel or impose the 1948 armistice lines---not borders---as permanent borders. Abbas has not budged from the positions of 20 years ago. His own advisers said they were only in the negotiations to get the 104 prisoners freed and have every intention of going to the UN afterwards. Plus he told Obama that any agreement would not be an end to all claims and he would never recognize Israel as the Jewish homeland! Implement Plan B now!

BUILDING A MIGHTY ISRAEL !!!!

BUILD BABY BUILD!!!!   (04.03.14)
Israel has peace pals have bills that they can't pay. ANNEXATION AND REPATRIATION Of all pals to Jordan. If the Israeli's say "GO" the pals"GO". No reason not to, the pull date of the fictitious pals has long expired. BUILDING IS WINNING.. MORE JEWS COMING TO ISRAEL !!!
17. What line are left to be crossed before
Michael   (04.03.14)
Israel will realize the peace process is the Arafat's phase plan? How long will people keep playing the pretend game. The government has already rationalized releasing murders for nothing is an appropriate response. Before can continue it needs to do smoe serious introspection. We have lost our moral compass because some are so desparate to play the pretend game.
18. Extend talks to allow the jews continue stealing the land
Zizi   (04.04.14)
19. Reprisals are in order if Abbas dare go to the ICC
zioness ,   USSR   (04.04.14)
Let us not forget that Mahmoud Abbas, known as Abu Mazen, the peace partner that Obama has supported 100 percent is was treasurer of the PLO, and he is the same man who provided financing for the Munich Olympic attack that killed 11 Israelis. Next time Abu Mazen threatenes to go to the ICC, which will be soon Israel should follow through with a reprisal, by arresting him and jailing him and finally putting him in a glass booth for the world to see him squirm
20. # 19 Excellent idea.
