Newsflash: Israel is the US' only completely reliable ally in this part of the world, and their largest unsinkable aircraft carrier in the mideast.

If America turned on the pales then the entire Islamic world would turn on America and Obama has been trying to mend fences with the arabs not create more obstacles especially as he wants Saudi Arabia It would also send the image America cares only about Israel and we would probably see the arabs & muslims being more radicalised against America. Even if Obama did cut off aid to the pales he would suddenly find himself swamped with requests from other western leaders to reconsider his decision and start handing out the money agains. The palestinians really are untouchable and and its like the world bows down to them as if they were gods. Its so pathetic that Abbas can actually scoff US threats and come out say you won't punish us. Even Putin doesn't challenge the US on the same scale Abbas does.

If Congress doesn't appropriate, Obama has nothing to spend. If the US fails to spend, then Israel or Iran will make up the difference, just like 2006 when Bush and Congress cut off the PA.
