31. #12 Very well put
Jane J. Goldfarb ,   Boston, MA   (04.10.14)
32. Medinat/eretz Israel
Sjoerd van der Velde ,   Hoorn, Holland   (04.10.14)
The state/land of Israel, with Jerusalem, as capital, is situated between the river Jordan and the Mediterannean Sea, period! May Israel exist forever and always!
33. #28: You forget one thing
Israeli 2   (04.10.14)
Not only will they NOT get citizenship but they will hurriedly leave to Jordan and Syria. They are leeches and MUST be removed., you see.
34. Darren #26
Eaglebeak ,   Left Coast, USA   (04.10.14)
You just don't like Jews period. You want us to roll over and play dead for you and that's why you especially don't like me. I can live with that.
35. To: No. 29
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (04.10.14)
Lay off the weed, boychik. The Arabs in Judea and Samaria are all Jordanian citizens, courtesy of Jordan's 1954 Citizenship Law, which bestowed Jordanian citizenship on all West Bank Arabs, and their progeny, irrevocably. Jordan's attempts to revoke the law and disenfranchise its citizens have repeatedly been rebuffed by the International Court of Justice in The Hague. The Court has ruled that an irrevocable grant of citizenship is precisely that -- irrevocable. Don't worry. There will be plenty of bituach leumi for you to get stoned on for the balance of your days. Has anyone bothered to point out to you that Carmiel is not Haight-Ashbury?
36. He makes so much sense - The collective penny will soon drop
Barry ,   Tokyo   (04.10.14)
once the MSM lies are exposed
37. the right are now becoming the greatest threat to Israel
zionist forever   (04.10.14)
The left would want 2 states and be willing to give away everything for nothing in the name of the peace process. They are a threat to security. The hard right and the nationalists like Bennet have now become the greatest threat to the countries continued existence as a Jewish state. Annexation of Judea & Samaria means annexing the millions of arabs there and giving them full citizenship and that means giving up the Jewish state idea becoming a religion neutral state for all which is what the PLO wanted before oslo and its what Hamas want now because it means no more Jewish state in any part of the holy land and has been liberated for the muslims. We should control the security but we should not make any rush moves to annex it in the name of ideology.
38. 11
zionist forever   (04.10.14)
Get real I am not in favour of the peace process the way things are right now the oslo model failed but we cannot just say Jordan is Palestine. You want to tell me how we are going to make Jordan Palestine if its rulers do not want it to be that way. Its like saying Singapore is Palestine. If the government of Singapore is happy to take them all in make Singapore Palestine then great but Israel cannot just say Singapore is Palestine and force you to take them. Annexation of Judea & Samaria is also not an option because it means we have to give full citizenship to the arabs and that means no more Jewish state. We need a third option I don't know what that is but what we have tried has failed and what Bennet is proposing is suicidal.
39. To: No. 28
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (04.10.14)
That would be the case if the "Palestinians" in Judea and Samaria were stateless. But they are not. They are, in fact, citizens of Jordan, courtesy of Jordan's 1954 Citizenship Law, which bestowed Jordanian citizenship upon all Arabs in the West Bank, and their progeny, irrevocably. Jordan has repeatedly tried to revoke that grant of citizenship, but the ICJ in The Hague has consistently ruled that an irrevocable grant of citizenship is precisely that -- irrevocable. When West Bank Arabs travel abroad, they do so on Jordanian passports. How many countries issue passports to non-citizens? The instant Israel annexes Judea and Samaria, or any portion thereof, the Arabs residing therein will become undesirable aliens, and we will repatriate them to Jordan.
40. To: No. 16
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (04.10.14)
Only if the world wishes to come to an end itself. The Jews will not go alone ... we will take a considerable amount of the world with us, and will render whatever is left uninhabitable for the next one hundred thousand years. Do you think a terrorist rabble is worth it? Do you think a state sponsor of terror is worth it? Don't test our mettle; don't question our resolve. We WILL pull down the temple walls.
41. Bennett bangs his head against the wall
everybody knows ,   Jerusalem   (04.10.14)
The arguments of Mr Bennett are the consequence of his accident
42. To: No. 26
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (04.10.14)
Eaglebeak is not Jewish. More fool you.
43. livni, kerry are incompetent failures.
ralph   (04.10.14)
44. Take it to the people
Jacob E ,   Holon, Israel   (04.10.14)
Take it to the people to vote on it. I'm for it.
45. A better approach - Judea-Samaria Jews declare independence
Dr. L. Brnd ,   San Diego, USA   (04.10.14)
Take the Turkish "North Cyprus" approach. Do you see any world or Obama pressure on Turkey to get out of Cyprus or end its "occupation"? No, you don't. Encourage the Jews of the so-called "West Bank" to declare an independent state on all the terrirory on which they reside, with land bridge connectors, plus the entire Jordan River valley desert to a depth of 5-10 miles - no Arabs live there. Israel can recognize it and provide for its defense. So what if few other countries recognize it - only Turkey recognizes "North Cyprus". Israel's security will them be governed by control of the border with Jordan, eliminating arms smuggling risk. Any PA "donut hole state" surrounded by Jewish territory, will get no access to israeli water, electricity, fuel, airspace, harbors or airports except on condition of good behavior. How to deal with Gazastan? Invade, occupy, annex to Israel a 3-4 mile wide strip of land to the sea, next to Rafah, cutting it off from Egypt and smuggling. Too wide to tunnel under. Nothing goes in or out except on condition of good behavior. All cross border atttacks on Israel and rockets strikes should be met by massive air and artillery barrages, no more fooling around with tit-for-tat pinpricks. Destroy key infrastructure. Drone strikes on anything that moves, like US and EU in Afganistan. The Arabs never honor peace treaties anyway - look at the "full peace for every grain of sand" Israel got from Egypt and Jordan. A fraud. Refuse to discuss the PA situation until Jordan and Egypt honor their commitments for "every grain of sand". Refuse to discuss the PA situation with EU until every penny of Holocaust victims assets are returned [they have returned only 6% to date].
46. Steve Benassi--
arne ,   chicago usa   (04.10.14)
I'm so confused--What's yours and what isn't?--this is driving me nuts.
47. Bennett is absolutely right
Brod ,   USA   (04.10.14)
The Land of Israel-Judea and Samaria-Israel's Liberated Historic and Biblical Homeland belongs to Israel since 4000 years ago. It is GOD-GIVEN and GOD-RESTORED to the Children of Israel. It is Israel's Land. Israel should formalize its Land of Israel. There is no need to let the Arab Islamist-Jihadist usurpers and their Dhimmis think they can have it so as to facilitate them usurping the Land of Israel and attain their goal of destroying Israel.
48. finally someone who talks truth
alan ash ,   nyc   (04.10.14)
Minister Bennett is 1000% correct. All land should be annexed as soon as possible. We all know it is best for Israel.the sooner the better
49. #6 Sammy - who is this we you speak of
Gee ,   Zikron Yaakov   (04.10.14)
You claim most issues have been resolved - when NO issues have been remotely close to being resolved. There is absolutely no prospect of peace. You are willing to bet our lives on your opinion - how nice. Don't get upset when we decide for ourselves without your input
50.  #5. We're arrogant and hated round the world...
Tarbouche ,   Aswan   (04.10.14)
Yos out of touch bro; Obama threw Israel under a bus where its secure borders are concerned, and is waiting like a lion in the grass for the moment to stab Israel in the back. We do not need a second Holocaust
51. #26 Guess what? Jews don't like you either
A ,   Belgium   (04.10.14)
and there are a whole bunch of us and only one pathetic you.
52. Australia doesn't need an "ugly apatheid wall",
A ,   Belgium   (04.10.14)
it is surrounded by a whole big ocean, so that asylum seekers and refugees can easily be sent to rot in the nearest (NOT in Australia) detention center, or in other words, concentration camp. Bet that makes you proud of your yourself and your country, right hypocrite?
53. #46, Arne, are you confessing to posting in my name, again?
Arne Redman ,   Chicago, IL USA   (04.11.14)
I'm so confused. Nice photo... http://www.eaiainc.com/
54. #52 Wrong again!
Darren Ben John ,   Townsville Australia   (04.11.14)
The majority of "asylum seekers" who pay a lot of money to get to Indonesia to travel in old, leaking fishing boats to God's own country, are economic refugees, who queue-jump to seek a better lifestyle. They deserve where they end up, and if you want to call these places "concentration camps", I can live with that. BDS.
55. # 42 Sarah B
Eaglebeak ,   Left Coast, USA   (04.11.14)
Actually I am. I was not raised as a Jew but my Grandmother and all her family were Jewish. I suspected it but did not find out for sure until later in life.
56. To: Eaglebeak at No. 55
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (04.11.14)
Mea culpa. I stand corrected, and apologize. I think I recall you telling me that once, and I believe I said "Welcome to the tribe." Short-term memory is the first to go! Seriously, I do apologize. You're a welcome addition to anyone's club.
57. #14 Steve Benassi...Bennett's proposals are not extreme !!!
Anthony Fallon ,   Manchester UK   (04.11.14)
Why are there so many objections to Bennett's proposals on partial or full annexation of Judah & Samaria, on these talkbacks. They are no different from Russia's annexation of Crimea, a couple of weeks ago, which was largely peaceful as opposed to NATO's invasion of Serbia in the late 90's on behalf of the Serbian Moslems which was VERY BLOODY. And why has everybody forgotten about Turkey's illegal invasion of Greek northern Cyprus in 1974 and continued occupation. The only problem which i can forsee regarding annexation of the whole of Judah & Samaria (rather than just the main Jewish settlements) is a demographic one ie. the proportion of Halachic Jews to Moslems in the enlarged state. Why should tiny Israel be a sacrificial patsy for Mischling John Kerry (my Irish heritage can be traced 10 generations ...pull the other one) to cement his Legacy before he and Obumma leave office. The US and EU double standards when it comes to dealing with Israel is breathtaking.
