1. Samson option proves "Israel is a responsible state" false
Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (04.15.14)
Israel has committed nuclear espionage, theft against the United States, shared nuclear technology, fissile matter with South Africa, threatened use of nuclear weapons during Yom Kippur War, and speaks openly of the Samson option.. "We possess several hundred atomic warheads and rockets and can launch them at targets in all directions, perhaps even at Rome. Most European capitals are targets for our air force. Let me quote General Moshe Dayan: 'Israel must be like a mad dog, too dangerous to bother.' I consider it all hopeless at this point. We shall have to try to prevent things from coming to that, if at all possible. Our armed forces, however, are not the thirtieth strongest in the world, but rather the second or third. We have the capability to take the world down with us. And I can assure you that that will happen before Israel goes under"
2. No benefit to Israel
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (04.15.14)
Israel must remain outside the nuclear nonproliferation treaty. The last thing on earth Israel needs are supposed "neutrals" traipsing through Israel's nuclear sites. Israel's a responsible nation -- we did not, after all, yank out the nukes in 1973 -- but to say we never will is simply foolish. Should an existential threat truly present itself, Israel can -- and should -- launch, preemptively. No need to ratify the NPT. It won't help, and it could definitely hurt Israel's interests.
3. #2, NSG waiver allows non-NPT countries access to technology
Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (04.15.14)
Example... "In another meeting on September 6, 2008, the NSG participating governments agreed to grant India a "clean waiver" from its existing rules, which forbid nuclear trade with a country which has not signed the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT)." --Wikipedia
4. #1 - Israel never threatened EU capitals or other nations
William ,   Israel   (04.15.14)
and the Samson option was never threatened but alluded to in a conversation with US Pres Nixon who threatened to cut supplies to Israel during the 1973 Arab attack on Israel. What makes Israel a responsible nation? That even when (assumed) having nukes, it never used them when facing a real existential threat from its Arabs neighbors. Iran doesn't even have nukes yet and has threatened EU capitals, Gulf neighbors, AND Israel no less than 10 times in the past 18 months! And unlike Israel, Iran does support proxy terror groups in all parts of the Arab world to further its expansionist agenda. Not exactly the people who should have a WMD, don't you think? Arabs have long complained that Israel (assumed) has nukes - which they admit blocks their wanting to attack and destroy Israel, but only Iran's potential nukes have them really upset, worried, and considering their own nuke program. Now which one is the real threat?

Will your "G_d" reward you for killing all of His creatures on all of His planet Earth? I don't think so. Just stay in your bath-OK?
6. HOW CAN WE MAINTAIN CIVILITY WHEN
joyce fraser ,   USA   (04.15.14)
one's adversaries and others do not? How unfortunate it is to know, that attributes such as honesty, compassion, understanding, courtesy, kindness, and 'love for thine enemies', seem to be NAIVE WEAKNESSES, which are invariably exploited and abused by 'devils and evil ones' who have no intentions of reciprocating such gestures.
7. #1 - Israel's nulcear weapons are simply a deterrent ..
michael redboun ,   Lisbon - Portugal   (04.15.14)
Your post is not very bright and not very will considered. You simply shot from the hip :-( When did Israel threaten another country with nuclear weapons other than to defend itself, and that in a last cast scenario? In '73 after a surprise attack, Israel came close to being overrun. I was there! Did it even threaten to use nuclear weapons? No!
8. # 6 Hmm, you mean war don't you?
BUILD BABY BUILD!!!!   (04.15.14)
there are rules of war and they do not include allowing savages to murder you just for being born a Jew. These enemies are not to be left alive, do unto you ( only do it first ) fits this perfectly. KEEP BUILDING !!!!
