1. Annex Area C and low populated areas of B
Bill Stein ,   USA   (04.26.14)
Annex Area C and low populated areas of B legally we have the right why are you so against as you and the left are.? Easiest simplest solution. Are you getting paid for each hector given back?
2. 2 States, 1 Country, Palestine Israel, 9M Arabs, 6M Jews
Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (04.26.14)
...from river to sea, with '67 borders, right of return, war reparations, and prisoner release.
3. The Divinely Mandated Paradigm for the Holy Land
Adam Neira ,   The Holy Land   (04.26.14)
The truth is that the Palestinians will not kick all the Jews out of Judea and Samaria/The West Bank and the Jews will not kick all the Palestinians out of the West Bank/Judea and Samaria. The divinely mandated command and control structure for the Holy Land and Middle East is actually a monarchy, think more constitutional than absolute. H.Q. is the Haram al Sharif within the Old City. The various states/governates/provinces would encompass : The State of Israel; Judea and Samaria/The West Bank; Gaza; Egypt; Saudi Arabia; Jordan; Syria and Lebanon. The idea of two states is flawed. e.g. The logistical hassles of connecting Gaza to the West Bank are huge. Will a tunnel or road cut through the Negev ? How will trade operate between the two states ? Water, electricity, gas etc. Balagan ! It is quite interesting that in ancient times, around the era of King Solomon circa 960 bce, the Holy Land and neighbouring regions were crisscrossed with trade and caravan routes. Yet people had a sense of sovereignty, the various camps were respected and co-operation was the norm not the exception. For example...Cedar from Lebanon was transported to Egypt and turquoise from Serabit el-Khadim in the south west of the Sinai Peninsula was sold in the bazaars of Damascus. The archaeological findings of Ze’ev Meshel in 1975 at Kuntillet ‘Ajrud on the old Rafah to Eilat Road, and Cheryl Ward’s discoveries at the Wadi Gawasis site south of Safaga on the Red Sea prove that there was trade and movement between various areas and peoples of the Middle East. People should try and look at the bigger picture and adopt a higher perspective. The “Win-Win” idea is not a cliché. It has ideological, economic and practical applications. P.S. All this talk about “Framework Agreements” is interesting. In psychological terms a frame of reference is the sum total or bubble of one’s consciousness at any given time. One’s frame of reference includes fears, both rational and irrational, hopes, dreams, expectations, biases, needs, wants, prejudices, focus points and perspective etc. A painting is contained in a frame. Good artists know how to compose a quality narrative. A movie screen is also a frame of reference which can tell a story. The 150,000 sq.m. trapezoid platform in the midst of the Old City is like a frame of reference. People project their hopes, fears and expectations onto the space, when the truth is that if the correct management structure reigns from there, the site will both attract and reflect blessings to the benefit of all.
4. search for 'out of the box ideas
tiki ,   belgium   (04.26.14)
Enough already with this obsession. Time out of any peace talk for at least 5 years. The Pallies had enough chances to come to an understanding had they wanted to, but they didn't. Their multiple no's are there to prove it! They are still stuck in their old concept of eradicating Israel.
5. Jews outnumbered In Area Security Supremacy Essential.
Zechariah   (04.26.14)
The Jews being hugely outnumbered have to compensate militarily to Survive .In terms of Peace the Arabs will not be satisfied with Demilitirization. The European Consciousness with the Mighty Merchants of Mass Destruction the USA and Russia at either End Stabilizing through Terror Even there Crimea has been Changed. So the best scenario is a Long Truce .Eventially Some Gazan Palestinians will have to settle in Judae and Samaria on the West Bank of the Jordan but the current Ratio of Jew to Arab 1:1 but under Jewish Security Maintainance needs Hold.
6. The One State syndrome
Hadi Eid ,   Monteverde   (04.26.14)
Here in Lebanon, we Christians believe that the One State plan is the best solution for both Israelis and Palestinian: a country with a Palestinian president and an Israeli prime minister with a 49/51% cabinet. Such a state would be the most influential in the Middle East in all aspects. Israelis would inject their know how and Palestinians would offer the robotic manpower. Think of Mandela and South Africa and stop all those feuding that are poisoning Jewish lives and the whole M/east. Hadi Eid Ph.D
7. There can't be a return to business as usual unless and ...
N.L.Katz ,   Qatzrin, Israel   (04.26.14)
... unless and until the Hamas - part of the coalition with the Fatah - adheres to all three requirements of the international community, i.e. UN, EU, US and Russia: 1) Accept Israel's RIGHT to exist 2) Cease all acts of terror and violence against Israel and decommission all illicit weapons, e.g. light arms, explosives, mortars, rockets 3) Adhere to all agreements reached with Israel and signed by the parties And, then, and only then, can the parties talk: Peace-for-Peace. P.S. And, while we are at it, it is high time the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) amended its Charter that it committed, in writing, to do 20 years ago. Lest it does so, the PLO Charter will continue to call for Israel's demise; for the "cleansing" of the ancestral homeland of the Jewish people of its Jews; and, for the use of all means to achieve these goals, terror and violence included. The US, incidentally, was a witness to the signature of this commitment that has never been fulfilled. Israel ought not be willing to deal with Hamas and the PLO until and unless both Charters are amended BEFORE all else, not after.....!!
8. ABC's Baby
BUILD BABY BUILD !!!   (04.26.14)
A-annexation of all disputed areas B-building ALL of Israel C-capitol Jerusalem ALL of Jerusalem for ALL of Israel. And R Repatriation to any arab land the pal chooses, any and all exception being, Israel. ISRAEL, KEEP BUILDING AND BREEDING JEWISH BABIES !!!
9. Out-of-the-box ideas
Harold ,   USA   (04.26.14)
Israel will never listen and nothing happens unless borders are imposed on both parties and approved by the United Nations.
10. russia should take american's place, role
atilla karagözoğlu   (04.26.14)
look at syria ! russia stands. and syria stands. why not for palestine !
11. how about rather than Israel conceeding
frank ,   rehovot   (04.26.14)
everything to terrorists by our liberal left we try something a little more out of the box. Giving our capital city to terrorists and other "compromises" which account and mean nothing, how about we Annex the lands that are rightfully ours in accordance with international law, the San Remo Agreements, declare anyone not a citizen illegal and DEPORT them to their rightful place, in accordance with international law, the San Remo Agreements, to Jordon...how's that for not only out of the box but everything complying with international law.....
12. So now the REAL nutcases will crawl out of the woodwork, is
tom ,   tel aviv   (04.26.14)
that what you're saying?! "Outside the box": what an idiotic thought to have, when concerned with Islamo-fascist drive for world-dominance! "Shared" custody, yeah like shared child custody with a pedophile. Nothing the civilized people have, can be shared with Muslim faith (ideology, to be exact). Who are these idiots in Israeli politics that even suggest such madness? Islam must be defeated, subdued, brought down on it's filthy knees, THEN we can start DICTATING terms of Peace in the Middle East. If this sounds too "radical" for you, then you're not ready yet (mentally developed) to defend your freedom & future of your children!!!
13. Now, when we finally have breathing
Robert Haymond ,   Teko'a, Israel   (04.26.14)
room and the ability to make decisions on our own behalf, YNET turns to its usual fearmongering in terms of what Israel can and can't do. We are a powerful nation and we needn't succumb to the kind of idiocy proposed in this article and we won't!
14. To: No. 6
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (04.26.14)
You had that 49%/51% thing in Lebanon between Christians and Moslems. Didn't work out so well for you, did it? And all of you were Arab. Israel has no intention of absorbing 2.5 million Arabs into its politicians. We will annex Judea and Samaria, and we will repatriate its Jordanian citizens to Jordan -- all 2.5 million of them. Stop foisting failed Lebanese policies on the State of Israel. The whole Middle East is a mess because of the Arabs, not the Jews. You know what that "Ph.D." after your name stands for? Try "piled high and deep." Go shovel your sh*t elsewhere, okay?
15. 2 states, Greater Israel, 6M Jews, Greater Arabia,350M Arabs
Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (04.26.14)
16. To: No. 2
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (04.26.14)
The "Palestinians" are dead broke. How on earth can they pay reparations for all the wars they started, two intifadas and seven decades of unremitting violence and terror against the Jewish people? Does the United States allow any non-Americans to weigh in on its sentencing policies? Hell, the U.S. has executed foreign nationals, they certainly would not allow a foreign entity to dictate any terms of imprisonment for American citizens. There is no right of return; buyer's remorse has no play here. And Israel will adhere to the borders as they were at the cessation of hostilities on June 11, 1967. The State of Israel, from river to the sea, and Jordan gets the return of 2.5 million of its citizens.
17. #14
Harold ,   USA   (04.26.14)
#6 is right try to believe that commentator and say what your's and Israel's plan is to solve this conflict.
18. #16
Harold ,   USA   (04.26.14)
#2 is right. Try to listen to that commentator and stop colonizing Palestinian lands and dishonor your own ten commandments.
19. Peace in the Mid-East
Sjoerd van der Velde ,   Hoorn, Holland   (04.26.14)
Israeli territory also includes: The Gaza-Strip, Samaria, Judea and the Golan Heights, for example. The so-called "pals" can go to "islam" Jordan, which is more than 3 times the size of Israel, to their fellow/other Arabian people, or/and to the rest of the "islam" Arab peninsula. There they will get a better treatment, than the Jewish people got in history. If they have a better idea, let us talk about that and see how far we wil get, with impartial mediation/advise, in order to achieve a safe planet of Earth of ours, for all of us, everywhere. Also, Israel, forever and always!
20. #18 which Palestine are you talking about?
Ilan ,   Ramat Gan, Israel   (04.27.14)
The people who refer to themselves as Palestinians, have no original ownership of the geographical area known as palestine, where modern israel, jordan, gaza and west bank sit. Just like you Americans don't over the native Indian land you occupy, just because you call yourselves Americans. Naming yourself after a geographical area does not imply original ownership! Of course no suggests that America pack up an move back to England do they? its really impartial considering everyone that lives there now, was actually born there, so why is it okay to demand Israel do something similar? other than, "because they're jews" Jerusalem in history is linked to Jews, not Muslims. The Muslims dont even CALL it that! they call it Al-Quds! why do you and everyone in europe and america call it Jerusalem and not Al-Quds? some people in the world can name you at least one king, poet or artist from the kingdom of Israel. (ex. King Solomon) can ANYONE do the same from this supposed "Historic Palestine" ? you maybe able to re-write Wikipedia articles, (one person went as far as to edit an article about human migration patterns from Africa to a 40,000 BC Palestine) but you cannot not change written history that has already been written. The kingdom of Israel was a real thing, after its fall the area was owned by empire after empire, after empire, until the ottomans lost WW1 and the league of nations, gave it to another empire , and that empire decided to return it to it's original DOCUMENTED owners, the Jews! until then Muslims and Jews were just subjects of those empires, even though yes, there were more Muslims! The wars that followed in an attempt to exterminate the Jews failed! Israel occupies ISRAELI land. when and if Israel decides to give a chunk to the Palestinians in exchange for peace, like it has with other Muslims countries, it will do so. appealing to popularity is a fallacy in argumentation, and does not mean the popular opinion you share is true!
21. best plan is Kedar's emirates plan for now
bernard ross   (04.27.14)
accompanied with PLO families being sent back out.
22. Time for The Israeli Solution.
Chaim ,   Israel   (04.27.14)
The last thing Israel needs is more ideas from infallibly wrong leftists, who are the root of almost all Israel's problems. Including Oslo, Disengagement, freeing terrorists and countless other abominations. All of this tiny land belongs to Jews. It is time for The Israeli Solution. The "Arab demographic bomb" is a proven hoax. Jews are a growing majority in our land. "Palestinian" poseurs have no national rights here.
23. Infants can't change their own diapers, mothers need to help
Michael ,   California, USA   (04.27.14)
Mothers are the great powers, the UN and all the countries in the world that had enough of the squabbling babies. Step in great powers and immobilize the sh*t in the diapers, then put some fresh and clean stuff upon those who cannot help themselves. Supervise it for the next fifty years and let new leaders come up on both sides. You will know those leaders have arrived when they smile and giggle together in their clean and freshly smelling cribs.
24. #23. Michael, Don't want to be rude, but you are nuts.
Chaim ,   Israel   (04.27.14)
Israel is a powerful nation who needn't take orders from anyone. The idea that Israel should submit to the U.N. and the "powers" that recently betrayed the Ukraine is pure lunacy. I don't want to be rude, but you are nuts.
25. #23 is MORE than nuts !
Chris Rettenmoser ,   Bayerisch Gmain Germ   (04.27.14)
26. #24, History will wash babies down the sink. Not rude either
Michael ,   California, USA   (04.27.14)
To stay above the sewer, babies need to learn to coexist, no matter how "powerful" they pretend to be. Together they will not be dumped down the sink. Find the way to act together now, before the time runs out.
27. #26. Peace comes when evil are totally defeated.
Chaim ,   Israel   (04.28.14)
#26 Michael. I'll leave your sick baby imagery to you and your psychiatrist. Hopefully, you have access to a good one. History proves true lasting peace depends on the total defeat of the evil. The WW II Allies' victory is a classic example. Israel needs total victory over "Palestinians" for real peace.
