The verse written on the gravestone "ki midei dabri bo zachor ezderenu od" (translated: that whenever of him, I remember him even more [referring to their delightful son].) This verse might very well have been written by a family member or friend of that soldier. And where's the outcry when synagogues are vanadlized and Torah Scrolls desecrated? This is what happened just recently and not a word about it on ynet?

As ex-GSS head Carmi Gillon said, this is pure terrorism. The police and GSS should immediately drop everything and hunt the terrorists who did this. I imagine that Netanyahu, Peres, Livni, Lapid and the US State Department will soon issue condemnations, and that Arab MKs will demand that the students of AMIT high school be treated as terrorism survivors.

It would appear that the school needs to have some student volunteers guard this site beginning a few days prior to both Yom HaZicron and Yom HaAtzma'ute.....or the city can hire Armed Guards from a security agency......a small price to pay so that bereaved families will not have to suffer this horror in the years to come......and the school/city should offer a large reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those who committed this crime.......AM YISROEL CHAI

There should be a change in the law so that defacing a war memorial should carry a harsher punishment than simple vandalism. This sort of thing should be punishable by jail time. The people ( almost certainly arabs ) who did this are sick and belong in jail. I just hoe the sick people who did this are caught and they get punished.
