1. between the two, there is only one rational choice

there is no doubt that the future of egypt depends on al-sisi and the success of his administration. the muslim brotherhood is, and has always been, an islamic totalitarian party that wants to take back egypt to the dark ages. it must be hoped that one day egypt will enjoy the full fruits of democracy and of economic development. until such time arrives, a-sisi's rule is by far the most adventageous for the people of egypt who do not want an iranian style sharia theocracy in power.
2. #1, don't be so sure about Sisi and future of Egypt
Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (05.12.14)
In the first parliamentary elections after Mubarak Egyptians voted overwhelmingly 75% for Sharia parties. Since there are over 10% Christians in Egypt this means that 90% of Muslims want Sharia law. In the second elections for President 52% of Egyptians voted in a Sharia law supporting President. Only a year later after many tens of millions of Egyptians started starving for lack of minimal food supplies, they went to the streets to overturn the new regime they vote for. Once Muslim Egyptians will fill their bellies they will again turn their eyes to implementing Sharia law.
