1. BIBI WAS SMART TO STAY AWAY FROM THIS
IRANIAN JEW ,   LA USA   (05.30.14)
If BHO has no balls to tell the short king (JORDAN) to take care of his own people, then Israel will also not care for commenting on Ukraine. US wants to get the hold of RUSSIA naval bases their and Putin found that out and made his move. That is all what this is about. BIBI is smarter than Putin and BHO put together.
2. Israel should remain neutral
CJK   (05.30.14)
israel is a small country that lives among murderous enemies. israel cannot take sides in the case of the fight between the united states and russia regarding the ukraine. the united states is a close ally of israel, while its current government cannot be relied on. russia is openly supporting enemies of israel, but is not per se an enemy of israel. hence, at this point, israel must remain neutral in order to safeguard her own national security interests.
3. "Russian invention in the Crimea..."

Give me a break. Where is the editor (Jill Abramson did better job and got fired) to make sense to the whole article. Never mind Israel is loosing its focus on what its international vision is , let alone 'suporting' Putin the dictator, it makes me ask what's going on with Mr. Netanyahu, is he planning to reseign?! He is giving away his leadership of the government to some second rate ministers. Where is Amir Perets, David Levy, Sheetrit..... Gone are the good days, looks like Israelis are going to start taking Russian lessons....as even this article souds more Russian than English.
4. #3 RUSSIA VS. UKRAINE IS NOT BIBI'S PROBEL
IRANIAN JEW ,   LA USA   (05.30.14)
BIBI has other things he needs to worry about. Russia supports HAM ASS and Iran. Israel stays away to get Russia to support them less. BHO does not give a hoot about Israel and you can see it. IF EU & US stayed off Israel's back and really helped with peace the way it should be done then Bibi would have said something. You can out Israel in the corner and ask for its support.

Harold ,   usa   (05.30.14)
More two million of Israeli population is made of immigrants from the Soviet Union and they can do a huge problem for Bibi to interfere. Putin was and is very friendly to those immigrants and they like him.
8. @7 one million. The other million went back...
Miron ,   USA   (05.31.14)
and as things go, the other one is beginning to move back to, to fight Obama in Ukrain.
9. 6 not mine.

10. Crimea is Strickly a Russian Probem
Tova ,   Canada   (06.30.14)
The Ukraine was given Administrative Rights to govern Crimea by Russia after the war. The Ukraine was to break away from Russian and join the west. Did the Ukrainian population not realize this move would cause war. Of course they did. It's not Israel's Problem. The problem is more for the United States - Putin is too strong for the American Government - Putin will never give up the fight and no country in the world will challenge Russia and that is why Putin is in charge.
11. No one cares
nadav ,   tlv   (07.09.14)
No one in Israel cares about the Crimea or Ukraine or Russia. That's for the global powers to dispute, so not sure why everyone is trying to bring Israel into the picture. It was the same with Kosovo, the Serbs and Albanians were trying to gain favor from Israel, even trying to out-do each other on who treated their Jews better! Ultimately, Israeli citizens don't care- we have our own problems, like Fakestinian Jihadist terrorists deliberately launching rockets at Israeli civilians! Does anyone really think we care about Crimea and its Tatars, etc? LOL
