1. Well it certainly sounds like
Henry ,   London   (06.02.14)
the Palestinian leadership want their cake and want to eat it - recognition of their unity government without any change to Hamas ideology. Rather than rejecting this government outright and thus appearing to be "anti-progress", Nethanyahu should ask them to put their money where their mouths are and lay down certain conditions for recognition - i.e. recognition of Israel's right to exist, changes to the Hamas charter, changes to the education system etc etc. Failure to so will reveal who is "anti-peace". Regretfully however, Nethanyahu's approach will invariably turn out bad for Israel. It has unfortunately become the trend.
2. Hamas is a terrorist entity period.
sheik rattle & roll ,   USA   (06.02.14)
The US should break off all contact with any Palestinian that has any contact with Hamas and cease all aid immediately. This is a terrorist organization that promotes terrorist attacks and suicide bombings. Any government that doesn't recognizes the dangers from dealing with these animals is not a true friend of Israel. If the Eurowimps don't recognize this fact they are delusional. The white house should recognize this fact as well. Abbas says he is a man of peace. When the missiles fly from Gaza targeting civilians how does he distance him self from that terror?
3. Meretz Chairwoman Zehava Gal-On
Brett L ,   JHB RSA   (06.02.14)
Proving yet again the Jews worst enemy is the Jew himself, or in this case, herself! Why should Israel be forced to talk to a party who is hell bent on our distraction!!! NO OTHER COUNTRY IN THE WORLD WOULD BE EXPECTED TO DO THIS!!
4. Time for eclectics in the PLO!
Brett L ,   JHB RSA   (06.02.14)
Lets see who wins that and where negotiations go after that. Me thinks hamas will walk it and take over creating yet an even larger terror entity!
5. Cut the EU off at the pass
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (06.02.14)
Annex Judea and Samaria. Repatriate the newly illegal squatter "Palestinians" to Jordan, country of their citizenship or, in a gesture to King Abdullah II, deport them all to Gaza. If the Europeans are that intent on making nice to Hamas, let them. Of course, there's the matter of the fully legal and internationally-recognized blockade of the Gaza Strip, so there is not much the EU can do in practical terms unless they want to challenge Israel -- and they do not. There is common consensus here. Hamas is a terrorist organization that has publicly stated that it seeks the destruction of the State of Israel. By virtue of the recent link-up with Fatah, they have now achieved semi-status in the United Nations. We know Hamas and the other terrorist rabble arrayed against Israel. They are like small children, and if they can get their hands on a missile or a mortar, they will launch it against Israel. Even coming from a semi-state possessing only observer status, you can make the argument that that is a declaration of war. Then, we roll right over them. We'll have assistance, if we want, from surprising sources. Frankly, the world has gotten pretty sick and tired of the whiny bunch that constitute all "Palestinians." They pushed Israel, trying to see if Israel would cave. Not only did Israel not cave, but it pushed back. The "Palestinians" continued with their absolutely outrageous demands and unilateral actions. There's no going back, and Israel is the only one in a position to move forward. Annexation of Judea and Samaria. Still want an independent state for the "Palestinians?" Fine. Gaza. Seven decades of unremitting violence and terror have been more than enough. If they try again, they'll be crushed.
6. Halt the part of PA "recognize" Israel, the other half ...
Beary White ,   Norway   (06.02.14)
..wants its destruction. This is a common behavior of Islamic cult followers... When a terror-rais has been done by Islamic cult followers, the rest of the cult say it is "they" who has committed the terror, not "us"!!. Next time is it visa versa, in this way the Islamic-cult followers tries to avoid their responsibility. The Islamic cult by itself is deadly and should never be part of recognition by western countries. By incorporation hamas into the PA-government, abu masen will say it is "them" who eventually did an upcoming terror-action, and not us,.....and start smiling..
7. "THAT'LL BE THE DAY THAT I DIE"
Mighty Jew Young ,   ATLANTA GA USA   (06.02.14)
ISRAEL should RECOGNIZE HAMASS THE DAY AFTER HAMASS RECOGNIZE'S ISRAEL Otherwise hamass WILL WHITHER ON THE VINE and continue it's march to go the way of the dinosaurs. Leaving some petrified scat and a few islamist fossils to oblivion...
8. Israel's PM is saying loud and clear
Israeli 2   (06.02.14)
that the PLO of M. Abbas is NOT a terrorist organization like Hamas. The EU is saying that they are all the same Banana. "Let's talk to all of them just like you, Bibi talked to 1/2 of them." Well, the EU is much more logical and less hypocritical, I think.
9. Netanyahu warns again
Harold ,   USA   (06.02.14)
The EU will recognize the Palestinian Unity government because they wanted this happen. It is a bad plan for Israel to make peace with half of the Palestinians.
10. to Art Tsonis
Ar   (06.02.14)
Money does not cure stupidity. Nor does your malevolent misspelling reflect a grain of intelligence. So you don't like Jews. Choke on it.
11. Dancing with the wolves and cry '''gewalt
tiki ,   belgium   (06.02.14)
It's about time that Israel stops participating with this BS. No talks, no recognition, period! When EU/US will ''recognize el Qaida as a viable partner and not a dangerous gang of terrorist murderers, than Israel might do the same. Talk is cheap! It's about time that US/EU stop giving Israel advice what to do & how to behave and instead of constantly undermining her, to form a 'real bond with her. That's the only why to stop the Islamist take over! It's about time that the Arabs start to look at Israel again as the country they fear, which at the moment is not the case! What happened to "We'll find the terrorists wherever they are? Today, Israel (in her pursuit of European love) is behaving like a Jew is 'supposed to behave. Today Israel is funding terrorists, giving them free energy, when ill/hunger strike giving them the best medical treatment, making them more intelligent by letting them study etc.etc.etc. Where are the days when Israel was not 'liked (nothing has changed) but feared & respected? It's about time for these days to return!
12. they are domestic as long as they are not external
C   (06.02.14)
they cannot claim that they are domestic when they carry out terror attacks externally. any attempt by hamas to spin this true statement will be dealt with most harshly.
13. Enough ,...
split ,   US   (06.02.14)
Folks get this clown and his goon Avi out of the office, by lecturing foreign governments, sticking their noses in their business they made more damage in last several days than should be allowed by law. Zionist's biggest threats are their neighbor nations unity and peace without it they can say that they're the saviors and guarantors of Israel's existence. By the way US and Canada where Hamas is on the list of 'terrorist' organizations is not exactly 'the West' ,...
14. #5 Sarah B
Harold ,   USA   (06.02.14)
Netanyahu loves your plan but he is unable to execute it because he know why.............
15. Europe Accepting Hamas in the PA
Jack Holan ,   Arlington Hts USA   (06.02.14)
PM Netanyahu is really speaking to the Old Europe in New Europe clothes. Nothing there has really changed. His big shock will come when Kerry is bamboozled with double talk from Abbas and Jen Psaki announces a kosher certificate on the terrorist government/entity.
16. EU does not care if Hamas murders Jews
CJK   (06.02.14)
as long as hamas does not murder european christians, the eu does not care.
17. #13 "Zionist's biggest threats are their neighbor nations
A ,   Belgium   (06.03.14)
unity and peace" . And which of Israels neighbors are united and peaceful, polak; Lebanon? Syria? Egypt? Jordan, where the next uprising will occur between the majority "palestinians" and the ruling minority Hashemites? Not one of them are united and peaceful, polak. And if, as you so ignorantly declare, the US and Canada are "not exactly 'the West'", than what are they, Asia? The moon? Go contribute something useful to humanity and inseminate a hog, Kowalsky.
