Including the pope of Damascus/Antioch, Alexandria etc. why do we only hear about one particular pope, the western one?

Was she invited? Germany has not been invited in the past. Or is its tight control over the EU simply too much to ignore?

It would be better if the pope were to condemn the endorsement that the Church gave the Nazis and Hitler. According to historical documentation the Church was against the Communists; fearing the eradication of religion in Russia, so it supported Hitler knowing full well his agenda. This is a ugly blemish on the Church, just another one in a long history of Jew baiting and seeking its own self-interests at the expense of others (read: Jews).
