1. Well, I tell you
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (06.05.14)
I just don't know HOW I will sleep at night, knowing that the European Union is "disappointed" because the sovereign State of Israel exercises its sovereign right to build in nonsovereign territory which it reacquired in the course of fighting a defensive war against Jordan. Little baby PLO whining again. Tough. Cry me a river. It's not as if Israel really takes the United Nations seriously. No one does.

Beary White ,   Norway   (06.06.14)
.. while EU and Sotero punishes Israel over and over again. Actually, it is sad I am waiting for the day when the islamic-cult-followers make a brutal awakening for the western world and punish the Europe for not being members of the islamic cult.
10. Stop playing games, Bibi. This land is ours!
Chaim ,   Israel   (06.06.14)
Stop playing games, Bibi. Stop pretending "Palestinian" poseurs own our land. This tiny land has belonged to Jews for more than 4,000 years. It would be simple to legally prove to any fair person this land is ours. It would be even simpler to stop lunatic Israeli support for Fictional Palestine and let the evil abomination sink forever. "Palestinians" would beg to leave our land.

Rau   (06.06.14)
This is just another lame excuse to justify land grab. Your greed will backfire one day, if not soon.
13. EU .... you have a bloody cheek !!
Mike ,   NZ   (06.05.14)
Commonly know as chutzpah ... to tell the Jewish people not to build in their ancestral capital. This is like telling the US they should not build in Washington, or the Poms not to build in London, or the French to lay of building in Paris. The Fakestinians have never contributed to the building of ancient Jerusalem, unlike the Jewish people who pray facing their ancient capital the Muslims turn their back on Jerusalem and face Mecca. So my advice to the EU ... piss off and and rather contemplate your dire financial affairs instead !

India and China are itching to execute an arms sale contract with Israel. As is the Republic of Georgia. Thus far, out of deference to requests made by the United States, Israel has not concluded arms sales agreements with any of those countries. Of course, deference went out the window now that the United States administration is violating its own laws governing contact with terrorist organizations. The deal with China alone is worth $151 billion. BDS, eh? Well, what do you think will happen should Israel cancel its technology sharing and licensing agreements with all the companies that rely upon all manner of chips and computer software which are Israeli-owned patents? All those chemotherapy protocols -- 70% of all the chemotherapy protocols in use throughout the world today, in fact -- which were developed in Israel and patented by Israeli individuals and organizations? Do not forget that mobile phone and smartphones rely on Israeli patents. I guess you'll just have to go back to two tin cans and a VERY long string. Then, there are those two huge natural gas fields owned by Israel. Israel can charge rates that are significantly below market, and all the world's nation-whores will come begging. You really don't have a clue, do you? Israel does not have friends -- nor does it need friends. Nations, on the other hand, do have interests. There isn't a computer sold anywhere in the world today that does not rely on Israeli IT patents. We lead the world in that regard. If you think you have the funds to pour billions of dollars into developing technology that does not infringe on Israeli patents, go ahead and try. It hasn't worked over the last 30 years, and it isn't going to work now. Of course, there's always telexes. I'm sure you can find one or two in the Smithsonian.

N.L.Katz ,   Qatzrin, Israel   (06.06.14)
a cause for lamenting, yet the construction of housing for Jews at the heart of the Jewish people's homeland is...?? Has Europe changed...?? It appears that it has not!!
19. Mike O'Diomasaigh, who is the stupid one?
Sidney ,   USA   (06.05.14)
When did any of these areas become OCCUPIED? The only UN resolution on Jerusalem, in 1947, said that Jerusalem was to be an international city under the UN. The other areas were to the east of a cease-fire line in 1948 when the Palestinians along with the Arab nations allied with them attempted to destroy Israel and lost. Did this land became theirs by virtue of losing a war of aggression?
20. EU ,stop tampering with Israel !
Maccabean   (06.06.14)
Israel will never backtrack on her existence and neither is she going to appease Any County in the world. Israel will continue to build and develop all over Israel in spite of any and every terrorist government. Be ready for a very strong and totally independent Israel.
21. EU is an emasculated entity
CJK   (06.06.14)
they live every day in terror of their islamist terror sleaper cells. their laws are so insane that they cannot even expel convicted islamists. israel is fighting islamists terrorists her entire existence. israel is on the forefront of the fight against islamist terror and will not bow to the emasculated eu demands.
22. D-Day Remembrance day & lost credibility
tiki ,   belgium   (06.06.14)
And on this important occasion little President Hollande had to eat not 1 but 2 dinners, because the two ego's from US & Russia couldn't sit at one table to have dinner because of their ''Ukraine conflict and nobody gave a peeps! Now, these backstabbing EU & US administrations have the nerve to order Israel to sit at one table to continue a farce called ''peace process with two terrorist organisations melted into one, leaving the veneer of 'moderate behind to have their ultimate goal, wiping Israel/Jews of the map (oeps, they did that already), I mean of course..... of the planet! But non of this is a concern for the 'diplomats who have lies & hypocrisy as a steady item in their luggage. It's houses built for Jews what makes them really angry!!!!!!! Had these 'leaders' been at the helm on 6/6/1945, we all would have spoken German.

What are you babbling about? Land grab? So, when then-Yugoslavia demanded the entire province of Istria to punish Italy for World War II, was that land grab? And when the French demanded Alsace and Lorraine to punish Germany, was that land grab, too? And Poland's demand of the Polish Corridor and East Prussia, was that also land grab? Oh, wait! The spoils of war. The aggressor loses, and gets punished by territorial losses. Gee! Just like Israel's stunning victory in 1967. The land's ours. If the "Palestinians" want their state, they can build it in Gaza. Of course, do keep in mind that the first missile that is fired into Israel from that "Palestinian" cesspool will be deemed an act of war. Israel will retaliate. We'll take back Gaza, too. And send the "Palestinians" to their rightful homeland -- the Hejaz in the Western Arabian desert. I'm certain the Saudis will prepare a suitable welcome.
27. Build in Judea/Samaria because it is ours.
Chaim ,   Israel   (06.06.14)
It is a HUGE and very dumb mistake to link Jewish building in Judea and Samaria with "Palestinian" actions. The reason Israel should build, without limits, in Judea and Samaria, is because it is ours. It has nothing to do with the actions of "Palestinian" poseurs.
