Hezbullah may be losing some of their old leadership in the war in Syria, but they are getting hundreds of new recruits and the entire HZ in Syria is getting valuable experience in tactics, small arm ambushes, logoistics, maneuvers, etc.. When you couple that strength against Isreali ground troops who have almost zero real fighting experience - but better technology and weapons it seems it would become a pretty good match up in the field - except Israel's airpower would soften the ground so much for their ground troops there would not be much left to fight.
3. Hezbollah losing Vets .....where?
Sammy ,   Newcastle   (06.07.14)
Hezbollah are now losing far more Vets in DESERTIONS and AWOLS than they are in Syria Because its dawning on them that they are being simply used and manipulated as cannon fodder by Nasrallah to butcher Irans enemies or use Lebanon as a Military Base to launch Iran sponsored agression And despite the ferocious retribution threatened by Hezbollah to deserters...the numbers are growing week by week and they are finding NO SHORTAGE of Lebanese Patriots of all religions willing to give them a safe haven Hezbollah are History

Your reservation is redundant. It appears in the article – "faced with the public loss of senior military figures, the organization's new recruits are gaining proficient fighting skills during battles in Syria."

Can you note your source of information ? I have not read about it.
12. NO PROBLEM!
IRANIAN JEW ,   LA USA   (06.09.14)
Fresh batch of new dummies have already been trained in Iran and will be sent along with Iranian commanders and mullas to brain wash them while they fight. There is no shortage of desire to die in Iran. The main commanders and spacial units fighting in Syria are Iranian and not Lebanese, anyway. . You also have Russia, and shias in Iraq helping Assad. Do you really think there is shortage of crazies there at all between all of these countries? Money and arms come form daddy Putin and death will come form the Iranian mullas. It is a win win situation for the mullahs. There will be no generation left to oppose them. They get rid off them so quickly. By the time they realize they have been fooled, they are partying with 72 virgins.
