1. EU is asking to support a terror partnership
tiki ,   belgium   (06.09.14)
The EU would of course never do something like that if it was on their own borders, but far away with the lives of mostly Jews on the line it's not a problem. If the EU is sleeping with the enemy, it doesn't mean Israel must do the same. In this case the cynical EU is 100% wrong and she knows it!

Of course it's good for the "palestinians!" That's why we support it. We won't negotiate with it, but we think that the "palestinians" should have every opportunity to build a thriving state .... in Gaza. Judea and Samaria are Israel's, forever, but we will deport all West Bank Arabs to Gaza to help build that state. I'm sure that just as soon as Fatah and Hamas stop killing one another, they'll turn to the needs of a new state. Won't be a population crisis either -- you'll see something like what's going on in Syria, except magnified ten-fold in horror and death. It's the only thing the "palestinians" excel at -- violence, murder and terror. Haven't you been paying attention?
3. No Surprise, Inevitable, eh?
Jersey Jew ,   New Jersey, USA   (06.09.14)
Plus, expected more, much worse, to come. Military occupation of millions of indigenous peoples rejected by the entire world including our USA is unsustainable. Not in American or Israeli/Judaic Interests or Values ... not smart!
4. Support it?
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (06.09.14)
Of course we support it! The "unity government" concept handed Israel a reason to deport "Palestinians" from Judea and Samaria on a golden platter. We support the "Palestinian" unity government. We just have no intention of negotiating with terrorists. They can have their unity government; I wish them all well ... in Gaza.
5. How dare they ask that!

6. really?!
nadav ,   tlv   (06.09.14)
a "moral" global imperative? really? more so than the tens of millions of Kurds suffering under Iranian, arab and Turkish despotism? More than the millions Tibetans under communist totalitarian rule? More than Turkish occupied Northern Cyprus- a member of the EU!, more than Western Sahara, where most of the people were shoved out into the desert by the Moroccan military- even MORE of a moral imperative than Russia violating EVERY law and international norm by invading a neighboring SOVEREIGN (Real) country and annexing its territory (that's after they did the same to Georgia back in 2008!). ALL those examples are less of a moral imperative than the so called "palestine", a fictional creation of Abdel Nasser without absolutely ANY legal or historical basis or claims to sovereignty?! go @#$&* yourself Boroso!! Why don't you give independence to Catalonia, Basque, Corsica, Scotland, and Brittany! hypocrite!
7.  Support Palestinian unity deal
jon ,   uk   (06.09.14)
EU must be in love with Palestinians or they are using Palestinians to be against Israel which is more likely EU do not tell Palestinians anything that is why Palestinians get away with what they ask
8. Support Palestinian unity deal
jon ,   uk   (06.09.14)
Barroso why don't you ask Palestinians to support what ever necessary for peace you the saying it takes two to tango
9. EU wants Israel to support that unity deal?
John ,   Herzlia   (06.09.14)
Let the EU first support the unity deals between Russia and the Crimea and between Russia and Eastern Ukraine.
10. What will the EU recommend to Jews next?
Ram ,   London   (06.09.14)
Maybe "hug your brother's murderer" or "stand still while you'r being asphyxiated" or " it's bad sport to resist while you are being murdered" or "Hitler was a nice guy" or "enough already! Die!!" You get my drift ;-)

Never forget Barroso represents 28 European countries.
12. Israel should- Europe should
robert ,   antwerp belgium   (06.09.14)
Spain should split in Catalonia, Basque and the center. Belgium should split in Wallonia and Flanders and internationalise Brussels, France should split in Normandy, Basque, Bretagne, ile de France, Alsace. Germany in north and south, Italy in north and south. Europe should keep it's advices to solve it's own problems
13. #11 Harold
Gee ,   Zikron Yaakov   (06.10.14)
Never forget we represent a country more powerful than all those 28 Eurotrash countries. We have a better economy as well. We are getting stronger - they are not

"Never forget Barroso represents 28 European countries. " Two comments: 1) Is that a reason to steal our ancient Jewish homeland, rewrite and deny 4000 years of Jewish history in Israel, to support Arab terrorism, Jew hatred and massacres on Jews, impose on us against our will an alien Arab state in our midst and at our expense and is that a reason for the Europeans to violate international law - the San Remo treaty and the Anglo-American treaty, that recognize Cis- and Trans-Jordan as our Jewish national homeland? So representing 28 EU countries is a reason to support genocide on Jews and EU imperialism hellbent on destroying the Jewish nation state? 2) Did the Europeans vote for Barroso? I don't Think so. Most EU institutions, despite contrary statements, are not democratic and do not represent the electorate of the 28 EU countries. By the way Harold, mind your own business. Who's said that you stand above the law, and above the Jews and above anyone, and who says you have any legitimacy to pass judgement on others while you take yourself and your own freedom and dignity for granted? Unless you believe in slavery and genocide I suggest you shut up and stop telling Jews and Israelis what they "should" Think and do. Get yourself a Life. We won't "listen" to your bullshit anyway.
