1. The scaffolding of Xtian belief requires no site prayers
mea   (06.10.14)
Non-Othpodoxy has no territorialism around prayer at sites. It is the orthodoxy who makes such claims--protestants, especially the udner--educated fundys- simply don't know or care to know about reguaktions, etc. The catholics are very greedy and continuously push to own more. The new pope is a salesman trying to pitch on one hand and make a grab with the other.
2. Wrongly
Shalom ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (06.10.14)
"Since the twelfth century" means since the Crusaders wrongly thought that Kind David was buried there and built the building that now exists. David was buried in or near the recently uncovered City of David. So these Jews are demonstrating in favor of a false Christian tradition. Only question: do some of them know it?
3. It is overdue time. The time has come, however.
Israeli 2   (06.10.14)
The nations must learn to honor and respect the will of the Jewish people. All of Israel and all of Jerusalem belongs to the Jews. However, we grant permission at our discretion for visitors and friends to be in certain places at certain times. Not all places and not at all times. Thank you for understanding.
4. 30 a*^%#holes

5. Time to ban this madness known as religion
Gideon   (06.10.14)
Although there are always going to be the brainless few , the gullible ones who need to believe in something in a desperate attempt to fit in and belong. About as creditable as the troll under the bridge.
6. If indeed the tomb of David HaMelekh...
History nut ,   Israel   (06.10.14)
then it is an historical site that should be kept preserved. When did praying near a site considered tamei become acceptable? Even the supposed kohanim that don't possess genealogical proof of their priesthood don't walk over a tomb for fear of tamei.
7. Tsipo and Peres are radical leftists
Jhan   (06.10.14)
But the ynet will NEVER say that, anyone who is a patriot or believes in traditional values is smeared by this commie organ as a "rightist" or a "radical". Well take your smears and shove 'em up your commie arses.
8. does this website have any integrity?
Ben ,   Boston   (06.10.14)
Militant? Is this a joke? How can you get away with being so tendentious? Are Israelis really so vitriolic and stupid as to put up with this garbage?
9. Ben @8 they are militant...come over & c 4 urself
Israel ,   Israel   (06.10.14)
because I am just so sure that from Boston you ain't seeing a thing!
10. "Wrongly" since when ynetnews dictate Israel law?
Jew   (06.10.14)
11. "radical" Jews protesting
Chaim ,   Israel   (06.10.14)
So holy religious Jews are considered "radical" in the eyes of secular self-hating Jews. Then you wonder why the world does not want to recognize Zionist Israel as a Jewish state when secular Jews living in Israel cannot even respect true G-d fearing Jews.
12. I love this stuff
Scott ,   Santa Barbara USA   (06.10.14)
Makes it so easy to share in support of BDS
13. What anti-Israeli propaganda
Gee ,   Zikron Yaakov   (06.10.14)
WTF? "(rightwing Likud) MK Moshe Feiglin". So are they going to label Labor as (extreme leftist Labor) MK Hertzog?
14. Under Israeli law, Christians are only allowed to pray there
Louis ,   Holon   (06.10.14)
Under Israeli law, Christians are only allowed to pray there twice a year.... "Beautiful" that the law decides over faith....i could replace that whole sentence by racism!! I love israel....and im a christian but these kind of things make me SICK!
15. #8,10.11 The real author
Moshe ,   Israel   (06.10.14)
This article was written by one of the AFP news agency's reporters, not by a Ynet reporter. Check the title.
16. @11 I am a religious Israeli living in Israel
Israel ,   Israel   (06.11.14)
my comment was directed to Ben who lives in Boston. I made no presumptions about Ben's Jewishness or Zionism, I only invited him to come to Israel to see what I an Israeli see and understand very well. These people are militant. Look up the word just in case you don't understand what it means. In other words I am a G-d fearing Jew and when I see Jews being militant I say so.
17. # 14 The Cenacle location
Moshe ,   Israel   (06.11.14)
The Christians are allowed to pray there only twice a year not since they are Christians, but because it is a holy site for religious Jews. By comparison, Jews are not permitted to pray at all on the Temple Mount, despite being this site the most sacred for religious Jews. Why ? over the place is a holy one for Muslims. So, should we regard the Israeli authorities as racists toward Jews ?
