I admit these type of programs help to break down barriers where stereotypes, especially in "Palestinian" society create an air of fear and dehumanization of Jews.
The "Palestinian" girl quoted in the article said it was the first time she ever met a Jew.
REALLY??? You're right next door to a country full of them, attending university in the Jewish capital, and you never met a Jew before??
"The aim of the program is to have more dialogue between Palestinians and American Jews."
It would seem the Jews the "Palestinians" need to meet and create a dialogue with are the ones next door...if they truly want to seek peace.
