Do the people of Syria, Egypt, Yemen et al have normal lives? They aren't occupied. Ms Zoabi appears to have grown used to what passes for normal life in Israeli society. Since every violent crime is terrifying, the meaning of "violent criminal" would be the same as "terrorist".
