Now that it has become abundantly clear that hunger strikers will NOT be released from prison, it would appear that the hunger strikers have abandoned their protest in favor of a solid meal. News flash! The only people who care about the fate of terrorists and murderers are OTHER terrorists and murderers. These people will leave prison one way: feet first, in a box. If they want to starve themselves -- well, they'll still leave feet first, in a box. Don't bother force-feeding them. For one thing, it will never come to that -- terrorists and murderers, for all their disdain for Jewish lives, seem to have an overinflated sense of their self-worth. They don't want to die; they want to kill. That's what gives their lives meaning and purpose

They are striking for 2 months for political purposes but then Ramadam comes along and on Ramadam your supposed to feast so they decide now is the time to end the strike. I guess they felt food they were being force fed wasn't luxury enough for Ramadam.

Can't wait to hear the details of their "agreement" with prison services. All the extra perks you want, just don't die on my watch!
