Hey, numbnuts, the "palestinians" have killed ten times more Jewish children than Israel has killed "palestinian" children. And Israel would not target a single "palestinian" if they weren't trained to be terrorists from the time they could walk. Israel's actions are ALWAYS retaliatory. It is not our fault that terrorists choose to secrete their weapons in mosques, hospitals and schools -- thereby making those mosques, hospitals and schools legitimate military targets. And, of course, there are those "summer camps" that Hamas operates, wherein they teach children from the age of four on up how to kill Jews.

israel needs a full iron dome implementation (15 units?) asap. so long as there are real threats from lebanon, syria, gaza and sinai, shuffling them around is not going to provide complete protection.
hamas is probably not behind most of the rockets fired since the beginning of the year. it's fairly certain that most of them were fired by competing groups, either to establish their own credibility, or to show up hamas. and more than likely, they subcontracted some, in order to maintain deniability, because they have little to gain, and plenty to lose. but israel cannot afford to chase small groups of terrorists, like rabbits, all over gaza, so netanyahu has decided, wisely, to hold hamas responsible for maintaining order in the strip.
as for a possible operation in gaza, god forbid! pounding hamas is not worth the cost, or the international sympathy it will generate for the "palestinians". it will not destroy the hamas-fatah alliance, but it might force abbas to align himself with hamas, but so far, that has not even affected american aid for the recognized terrorist group.
let us just hope it doesn't go beyond threats.
