31. The 3 teens
leah amdur ,   Jerusalem Israel   (07.01.14)
The strong response is to read Sefer Tehillim Tehilla 81 and to tell everyone to follow the message. Hashem says ''If only My nation would heed Me, if Israel would walk in My ways. In an instant I would subdue their foes, and against their tormentors turn My hand."
32. measured response?
(07.01.14)
Livni, Lapid and Yaalon demand a "measured response" to the kidnapping and murder of three boys. Where was their "measured response" less than four weeks ago? These three clowns were foaming at the mouth, invested all resources of Shabak and police and ordered countless illegal arrests of Jews and punitive occupation of a Jewish high school in response to what they call "terror": insulting graffiti.
33. to #23
Mordechai ,   Beit Shemesh   (07.01.14)
your response shows you have not really read what i wrote. Were thy 3 teenagers from say Netanya found in field nearby i am quite sure that there would be no political overtones as there blatantly are in this case.
34. The response should be Constructive...
Truth Hertz ,   UK   (07.01.14)
Build, build, build. 3 new cities in Judea, each one named after one of the martyred boys.
35. They have suffered enough
James ,   USA   (07.01.14)
Israel has retaliated already and killed a lot of bricks? Don't you think Hamas feels the pain. Now they will have to repair them. Israeli leaders again fail to serve the will of the people. Again they legitamize a terror group by calling it a government and allowing it to sit on its borders. Again they allow a terror group to reign victorious. Again they allow a terror group to build its arsanal of weapons. Again they fall victim to the will of the US, EU and UN. Again they betray all of Jewry and Zionism. Perhaps it's not the bricks israel managed to destroy that have suffered enough, it is the people of Israel. Once they were a proud people, now they are a cartoon strip.
36. "Measured response" keeps "Palestinians" murdering.
Chaim ,   Israel   (07.01.14)
"Palestinians" know they can count on a "measured response" from Israel to their heinous atrocities. Plus the continuous lunatic flow of Israeli food, money, electricity, materials, work permits etc. That is why "Palestinians" keep on murdering, terrorizing and demonizing Israel at will.
37. israel was killed when the 3 boys were murdered
areieh   (07.01.14)
yaalon is wrong if attilla is correct infingering him, lpaid and livni for a more measured response. The objective here is not a wider one. it is you do not kill the cream of israeli future. The goal should be to kill as many hamas gazans as possible. That is what they understand and fear. Hitting 34 structures is bullshit and nothing. Lapid's warnings about hamas will pay are empty. Bibi of course has no ideal on what to do since he was a coddled spoiled kid who only gained some fame via his brother. He has no idea on what to d. Waiting is not so bad but a devastating response is called for. And screw the states on their calls for restraint. Hams is winning and mocking the idf with the gates of hell warning. Livni is singularly destroying the state of israel and should be held to account by the israeli people.
38. What's so diffulcult?!!!
Jake Stone ,   USA   (07.01.14)
Send Moshe Ya'alon, Yair Lapid and Tzipi Livni to Gaza. They're the type of leaders Israel doesn't need right now. Tepidness will only embolden the enemy. Israel needs (especially now) decisive decision making that, apparently, Netanyahu is too hesitant to offer. Again, this coward hangs on the coattails of Obama and his worldwide cronies. What's so hard? either you protect your own or you don't! Israeli leadership needs complete unity to fight this war; liberal, leftist cowards will only impede this endeavor. The enemy is relying on Netanyahu's hesitancy, and this is only making matters worse. NOW! is the time to act...and, destroy Hamas and Fatah (irregardless of politics and what the world thinks), they're the collective enemy that MUST be destroyed at all cost. Dogged determination and sheer force of will is the only thing--along with the LORD--that will defeat these godless savages. Attack-attack--attack--NOW! while the cause is just and fresh and righteous. Israel has the moral high-ground that marks the true character of any freedom-loving people, and, unless, the leadership, of those people, are too afraid to protect that, they only become enslaved by those fears of reluctancy; thus, they do disservice to their own. This is what happens when you have leaders who are mostly secular and agnostic (no reverent fear of God) Israeli leadership needs to wake-up and do what's right! God bless Israel and His Jerusalem.
39. Find Someone Stronger Than Bibi
Dan ,   USA   (07.01.14)
Bibi concluded more was needed but didn't offer anything? Who needs him as a leader? In fact he really isn't a leader. Much like the weakling we have in the U.S.
40. No more measured strikes.
Dan ,   USA   (07.01.14)
Where is there in Israel a leader who understands that strength is the only thing terrorist respect and isn't afraid to use Israel's arsenal of weapons against the terrorist and those they hide behind.
41. Measured response? What yardstick are they using???
Harry Wright ,   UK   (07.01.14)
Empty buildings for the lives of three hitchhiking boys - that is the new exchange rate in Israe? Hm, somebody is devaluing the currency. The state coffers should not suffer. Garnish the resources of those who bear responsibility for firing on empty buildings and fields. Let them bear the cost of such a futile and wasteful exercise which causes your enemy absolutely no "pain". Bibi should tell the population to shut up and absorb THEIR pain instead of hyping them up for nothing. Better to do nothing than to do something RIDICULOUS like blowing up empty fields and buildings.
42. If Israelis want appeasement
Sidney ,   USA   (07.01.14)
Call an election and let them choose a government of Lapid, Livni and Ya'alon, Labor, Meretz, and the Arabs. That is the way a democracy works. If they want a deterrent response not the bombing of empty buildings, let them choose a government that will really punish Hamas. Otherwise let them not moan to the world about Hamas and company firing rockets at Israel all the time.
43. talk back comments are heavily censured
