1. The humanitarian 'tap on the roof'.
bob k ,   orlando fl usa   (07.12.14)
Israel, is the only country I know of that warns its enemies of a missile strike if civilians are seen or believed to be in the building. Can anyone imagine the U.S. or U.K. warning al Qaida to remove civilians because a building has been targeted? This warning shot from Israel then prompts hamas to tell the residents to stay home, some Palestinians are reported to have been seen running towards a building that has been targeted. hamas claims both victory and victimhood, without any concern for its people. This is evil and insane and those who support hamas are the same.
2. Protests against"Israel"
graczek ,   Maryland, USA   (07.12.14)
These protesters express their feelings that are shared by all true Christians who have not been corrupted by Zionist propaganda.
3. Maurice is right. London and Paris are lost.
David ,   Hartford USA   (07.12.14)
Only a matter of time before the royal family converts to Islam in the name of multiculturalism. The Britain of class, culture, and respect that we've come to know over the last 200 years is soon to be replaced by Muslim mobs. And they did it to themselves. Eurabia. Bat Yeor hit the nail on the head. What a shame.
4. Gee! Nice to see the religious wackos out in full force...
Harry Wright ,   UK   (07.12.14)
in support of the Hamastan wackos. I can just imagine the shivers going up and down the spines of the non-muslim folks in Britainistan and Eurostan. It is just another reminder among the many others, of their immigration folly.
5. # 1 Additional damage
Moshe ,   Israel   (07.12.14)
Those warnings before strikes on Gaza houses enable the Hhamas commanders escape from their homes.
6. Do they look English and French to you?

Brett L ,   JHB RSA   (07.12.14)
how many protests have there been for the mass slaughter in syria? What about sudan, egypt, iraq, sri lanka, tibet etc etc. The world is filled with hypocrites!!
10. GRACZEK Give it a rest
Brant ,   Hilton Head USA   (07.12.14)
Hopefully, Ynet which lets you spew your venom ceaslessly will allow this counterpunch:' Enough, you racist, Jew-baiting, Jew-hating excuse for a human being. Take your poison back to those like yourself who enjoy it. Yoiu can giggle and pat yourselves on the back and draw pictures of long noses.
11. London and Paris
Raphael Cordovero ,   Montréal, Canada   (07.12.14)
Maurice is terribly right. I was raised in the best and greatest of French and English culture and civilization. Now, when I see what has become of such glorious cities as London and Paris, that are being more and more islamized,I feel that life is no longer worth living. Fortunately (for me), I am nearly 80 and in bad health.

14. Thousands of Muslims occupying Europe protest
Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (07.12.14)
When don't they protest? What is new about it?
15. The article's title is misleading
Josh ,   T-A   (07.12.14)
It has to be - "Thousands Muslims, living on a welfare in Europe, demonstrate against Israel". The same faces can be seem at pro-jihad and anti-Western, and pro-sharia rallies. Is this London really, that we used to know and love? Ladies and gentlemen? Five o'clock tea, butlers, Her Majesty, Defender of the Faith? Submission, total submission.
16. The utter hypocrisy
(07.12.14)
All the while rockets from Gaza are fired into Israel a deafening silence from these groups and the UNHRC. How would they like to have to be under constant concern that a rocket won't come crashing into their living room and they be the ones having to run into shelters?
17. Thousands protest.
Rosa ,   The Netherlands   (07.12.14)
When you are being shot at - every one has the right to defend yourself. By the way, protests of thousands in a foreign country where they came as guests ...? Who the hell do they think they are?
18. Europe
Jake ,   haifa   (07.12.14)
This demonstration against Israel was only on one day. The Europeans have to live with this vicious Islamic mob every day. You see them when you go to Europe, praying in the streets, walking with their covered women behind them, staring with hostility at everyone. Today they scream because of Israel. Next week they will scream because of Christianity.
19. Well, really?
Texana ,   Dallas, Texas   (07.12.14)
Are these the same Europeans who saturation bombed Dresden in WWII, killing as many as 135,000 civilians, and who to this day kill those they oppose in Afghanistan, oh, right that is "collateral damage" not to worry. ONLY the Israeli forces try, really try, to keep civilians out of harm's way. Hamas uses them as human shields.
20. ZOMBIES and Liars
Doc Holliday ,   Georgia, USA   (07.12.14)
"Stephane Frappreau, who identified himself as Jewish, said the demonstrations were about "defending humanity and about stopping the massacre." " If only he had that same passion...if that's what you call it...about the three Jewish teenagers who were kidnapped and murdered. But we didn't hear one word of protest, did we? Over 1,000,000 Jewish people are constantly under rocket attacks, They run panicked into bomb shelters, yet these same people say nothing. Only when Israel defends itself...who wants that...do the brainwashed zombies appear in the streets. Here are the facts, war isn't suppose to be fair, ask any General. You want overwhelming power to crush the enemy. Hamas started this, but it looks like the IDF will finish it. But for those who falsely accuse Israel of a "massacre" watch this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fko9F1EAU2g From people who know, CASE CLOSED.
21. 13, 14, not mine.
Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (07.12.14)
22. 1000s That's an inflated figure
Claude ,   UK and Cape Town   (07.12.14)
The London demo outside the IL Embassy was by no means above 500. A sunny day in a city of over 8 million that's hardly a great turnout. Did not get coverage on local news, not even a bus delay! The Pro Pal lobbiests by aligning themselves with some of the nuttier and fringe elements of UK politics are hardly gaining the support of mainstream UK Opinion. A dying Church myred in sex scandals is barely noticed when it calls for BDS. Trade Unions have halved their membership numbers in last 10 years, fast becoming an irrelevance as they make statements about the Middle East, no one is listening anymore. Only one newspaper today carried IL Gaza on front page, some barely covered the topic at all. The BBC news on TV gave less significant coverage than which team Brazilians will support in WC Final. Yes Parts of London have become reminiscent of an Arab Street and the Brits don't like it , another reason why PALS have a huge mountain to climb in gaining a sympathetic ear amongst mainstream UK public opinion. PALESTINE = ARAB = ISLAM = THREAT and UNWELCOM IMMIGRANT.
23. reply
David Kross ,   Baltimore, MD   (07.12.14)
Not "Zionist propaganda," but Christians who read their Bible.
24. Where were they when needed?
tiki ,   belgium   (07.12.14)
When their brothers, sisters, cousins, nephews, nieces & friends were slaughtered, maimed, kidnapped & made fugitive in Syria, Irak, Lybia, Sudan, Afghanistan, Nigeria a.o. places? Same on them, for they stayed deaf & mum voluntarily while looking at the disasters in their brother's house! "There were no Jews involved" one can hear when listening to their excuses!
25. WHERE WOULD THIS LEAD
JACOB EDELMAN ,   New York,USA   (07.12.14)
I am just asking myself where would all this bloodshed lead. It does not seem that Hamas is giving up. Similar experiences in the near past are proof of this. And it is unlikely that Israel would stop its retaliation in defending itself. Is the situation that hopeless ?
26. demonstrations against israel
Mike ,   Washington, DC USA   (07.12.14)
So when will these peace loving folks start their demonstrations against the Syrian embassy?
27. Bye, bye Europe - You brought this on yourself
Rotem ,   Israel   (07.13.14)
so many "Europeans" protesting... There goes the neighborhood.
28. London is English land! Free London!

29. Think twice...
Anette ,   Essen, Germany   (07.13.14)
...before condemning Israel. It is tragic and inconceivably sad to see the casualties in Gaza and I am sure the majority of Israelis, too, feel for all those lives lost. Yet how can one call for an end to Israeli strikes without demanding an end to the threat of missile attack from Gaza which prompts Israel to defend its citizens. Israel may be stronger and its citizens safer thanks to sophisticated alert and defense systems, as well as bunkers which are virtually non-existent in Gaza, but this does not deny Israel the right to self-defence. It may be only natural that the pictures and reports of destruction, which seems much more extensive in Gaza than in Israel, prompt people to demonstrate (against Israel) but what would these people do if they and their families were exposed to continuous threat themselves – from missiles that target residential areas and jeopardise lives on a daily basis, as in Israel. We already get upset about very small issues if they affect our daily life. I do not claim to have sufficient knowledge of the situation but have seen a number of reports which reveal that it is not Israel’s intention to target civilians and that Bob from Orlando is in fact right about the “humanitarian tap on the roof”. Reports also reveal that the majority of people on either side deeply regret the loss of life of innocent people and that they would choose to save life – Israeli or Palestinian – if they could but sadly this is not so easy. Maybe one day those with a sincere desire for peace will find a way… Under the current circumstances, people not directly involved, I think, should be careful about making premature judgements, and think twice… PS I don’t think though that London / Britain is lost, as suggested by another talkbacker!
30. New York had bigger protests ALL WEEKEND, why didnt Ynet
Nathaniel ,   New York   (07.13.14)
report that? I passed by it yesterday and it looked no different than these ones in Paris. As much as I hate these rentamob idiots, this reporting by Ynet is clearly some sort of lets collectively rouse hate and spin against Europe. While in New York, EVERY DAY AND TODAY these idiots are there with the anti israel placards in big intimidating numbers.. Please report that too, to show how shocking this is.
