I'm growing a bit impatient. Just bomb Hamas -- show as much concern for their civilian population as they do -- and call it a day. Literally -- a day. That's all it will take. Show them -- and whoever thinks they can take their place -- just what the Jewish state can bring to bear. Right now, they are counting on the humanitarian impulses of the Jewish people. They need to know they are running on empty. Responsibility for civilian deaths in Gaza accrue exclusively to Hamas. They need to learn -- however forcefully -- that Israel is here to stay, and that they exist solely at our whim. Pound them. F**k civilians. Hamas' responsibility; ours is not to them, but rather to the safety and well-being of Israelis. They want war -- show them what it is all about. Civilians be damned. Their fault for having placed their faith and trust in Hamas. Nor have I exactly forgotten three-fingered salutes and sweets passed out in the streets. Gaza needs a reality check. Let's give it to them.
