Israel is getting ready to go in on the ground and they know the IDF will find tons of weapons in UN facilities. They can't move them now because they will get blown up doing it, so they are pre-empting the soon to be discovered news by claiming they weren't aware. Note that these rockets weren't dismantled or destroyed, just turned over to authorities (meaning Hamas) who will just place them elsewhere. No doubt if Israel had bombed that weapons cache they would have been accused of targeting a "civilian" installation.
