What occupying power? What occupation? Israel gave them Gaza (for promises of peace (and look what Israel got in return; a terror state similar to Somalia)). There is not a single Israeli there or a single Jew. It is 100% Judenrein. Vengeful? What would you call thousands of rockets fired at millions of Jews (and Arabs)? (An act of honor, of course...) What would you call 1000 dead from 80 Hamas suicide bombers and thousands more injured without limbs, or paralyzed etc? Civilian population? Is that what Hamas is? Because that is who the IDF is targeting... By the way, in other news, the death toll from the Syria civil war has topped 160,000 a third of which are civilians...

The rocket fire from Gaza is unacceptable. Where's the pressure on Hamas during all this time for firing rockets? How long has this been going on? Now when Israel decides "enough is enough" people jump on this lob-sided bandwagon that looks like it's so weighted with prejudice and discrimination not taking into consideration how residents of Israel have had to cope with this terrorist behavior. Ask yourself, "Would it be more appropriate to fire the same kind of rockets from Israel to Gaza indiscriminately that Gaza is firing to Israel?" Is this "Do unto your neighbor as you would have your neighbor do unto you"? All the while, Gaza gets international support and help from the UN, children go to summer terror camps, the PA pays prisoners for crimes committed against the state of Israel that comes from international donors while law abiding Palestinians trying to make a living aren't even rewarded. People in Gaza suffer while the leadership becomes rich, the people of Gaza pawns for the "taskmasters". Does this sound right? Some people might actually think "yes". The PA broadcasting television channels offer programming, directed for children as well, arousing feelings of hatred for Jews. Israel has the right to stop these rockets and destroy these tunnel networks and by indications it looks like Israel is trying to be careful not to harm innocent lives. Israel incursion into Gaza can be justified by the risks leaving rocket launchers and tunnels poses to the threat of Israeli and Palestinian life and limb. If any body has any better ideas that are reasonable and feasible, for real and for sure, absolutely accomplishing the objective the IDF has towards destroying rocket launchers and tunnels, please express those views. Gaza may even still be getting electricity of which the Palestinian Electricity sublet owes the Israeli electric company $500 million USD. Israel needs to be considered too.

Chutzpah has been described as the boy who murders is parents and then pleads to the judge for mercy because he's an orphan. Here we have the very people raining down lethal weapons on civilians, digging dozens of tunnels to use for murderous raids on civilians and yet, in all seriousness turning to a court to plead a case of "being orphans" (so to speak). The UN has lost the plot anyway, Like its predecessor, the League of Nations, it has never done a thing to stop wars or bring nations together. A waste of space, oxygen and money.

israel is a sovereign nation and a nation of laws. Israel does not cause civilian casualties intentionally. to the contrary, israel does all she can to avoid civilian casualties in this terror war started by iran's terror proxies hamas and islamic jihad. the right to self defence is inherent to the very concept of sovereignty and forms the basis of the charter of the united nations. no country can be expected to renounce self defence in the face of continual terror war against her territory and her civilian population. most unfortunately, the world, including Islamic terror states, have used arab palestinians as their pawns in their own cynical political goals. israel refuses to play a part in this game.

Hamas started indiscrimately firing rockets to Israel for the purpose of what? It is aimed to kill people what else. But the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob keep the Israelis from harm. Now that retaliation is going on, they want to bring the matter to the security council or to The Hague. These are the people with brain in the ass. Until when they are going to learn? Israel had been victorious in so many wars. I consider it miraculous to read the headline, "Their God changed the path of our rocket in mid-air.." God bless Israel.
