1. They Don't Have To Take Out The Leaders
A.C.Guard ,   USA   (07.31.14)
....if there are no followers. The manner in which wars, and this is certainly one, are won is by the mass killings of civilians. It is how WWII was won and by not causing massive civilian casualties, why the U.S. has lost every war since. The world will condemn Israel if it kills a dozen civilians or thousands so do the right thing for Israel and don't worry about the coming condemnation.
2. Dear Ham-Ass leadership

4. Sinister Intents.
Reuven Brauner ,   Raanana, Israel   (07.31.14)
The Arabs tunnel system is nothing but sinister and evil. It was create for one purpose. To harm Jews. Anyone whose intent is to harm Jews, simply because they are Jews, is evil and intolerable. This is what Gaza is all about.
5. The better question
George   (07.31.14)
Why isn't little Gaza flattened yet after all these weeks? What's taking Israel so long to do what the US would have done in 2 days?
6. good analysis

7. HAMAS leaders hear ye, year ye!
Prophet Salih ,   Paradise   (07.31.14)
Thou cowards! Do you not have faith in the promise of paradise, celestial virgins and endless banquets? Are you of such little faith that you shame Allah? Come out of hiding you cowardly believers of little faith! You sacrifice your young, yet you grown men cower like old women!!! Come out and come to paradise or forever face the black void of eternity!!!
8. Finding the leaders
General Powell ,   Raleigh, N. Carolina   (07.31.14)
How did the american forces find Saddam Hussein and his sons.. during their incursion into Iraq.. simple they offered a reward of $25,000,000 for info as to their whereabout.. and you what.. it worked like a charm.. hussein's cousin decided that money is thicker than blood.. gave the info. . got the money.. and fled the country.. perhaps posting reward notices around gaza.. would uncover the needed info.
9. let them suffer slowly.
DOV ,   USA   (07.31.14)
10. The simpler reason leadership is still alive
Dan ,   NJ, USA   (07.31.14)
There is a simpler reason that Hamas' leadership is still alive: because Obama wants them alive, to drive his Muslim Brotherhood agenda.
11. Al Shifa hospital
Rabbi Yakov Lazaros ,   USA   (07.31.14)
If they are hiding under Al Shifa hospital then it is obvious what Israel needs to do.
12. There Can Be NO MERCY for Hamas!
R ,   Earth   (07.31.14)
Seems like Hamas breaks all the rules of humanity, using and abusing their people to guard the "few." chosen. israel must wipe them out with any means and not worry about human shields! the world hates israel, what do they have to lose anyway!
13. I Think that from the wery start -
Arn. ,   Sweden.   (07.31.14)
-it is the Israeli politicians who is to blame for all failures. They hesitate and inteviene in all military matters, time and time again and spoils everything. Arn.Sweden.
14. hamas leadership
at ,   Karmiel   (07.31.14)
Amazing how blind you are to the real meaning of what you write: The utter futility of trying to wipe out the leadership of Hamas. No matter how many top leaders you kill, there will always be replacements. Whether you like it or not, Hamas is a guerrilla organization supported by its people. Therefore, there is an unending supply of candidates waiting to take over in case of death of the current leadership.
15. (this article says the same thing about 4 X, over & over)
Rafi ,   US   (07.31.14)
16. the commander of Hamas
Adele Bloom ,   jennings, Fl. USA   (07.31.14)
I think that they are in the Hotel in Gaza by the Beach .. in the Basement!
17. Drop a bunker busting bomb on shefa hospital
Mordechai   (07.31.14)
If the bunker of Hamas's leadership is under the hospital drop a bunker busting bomb on it with no notice to anyone. Its not a secret from the residents of Gaza. They know when they chose to allow the bunker to be built there that they chose to make it a military target.
18. Going about this the wrong way
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (07.31.14)
Don't go after them physically. Go after their money. That's how you cripple their leadership. No one is banking their money in the Gaza City Home Savings Bank, or whatever. They have offshore bank accounts. Not in the Arab world. Way too unstable. Even Abu Dhabi, which is currently leading the pack as the Middle Eastern banking center. Time to pay a quiet -- or not so quiet -- visit to our ancient frenemies in Europe. Switzerland, of course. Liechtenstein as a banking center has pretty much bitten the dust -- they get a free pass. Monaco. Luxembourg. Andorra. Hit them where it REALLY hurts. Their bank accounts. Want to kill an uneducated terrorist who grew up with wall-to-wall dirt floors and has no visible means of support yet manages to have $5 billion in investments (and more, for some of them) throughout the world? Find their money. Not easy, but not terribly difficult, either. Find it and lock it down. When you bank, there is always a trail. Unless you think that Hamas' "leadership" is sewing money into mattresses, European banks are the logical choice. There, Israel has access. Use it.
19. Get Deif
Sammy ,   Newcastle   (07.31.14)
Reports indicate that Deif has taken it upon himself to take FULL control Even if Haniyeh wanted to explore a way out Deif is totally ignoring the Hamas Political Leadership to do what he wants and leaving them hopelessly impotent That explains the stop start ceasefires and Haniyehs total lack of conviction in prolonging this war Whilst Mashaal is a 'wide boy' out for himself full of hot air and theatrics at least with Haniyeh seeing the writing on the wall there may be still some element of a conscience left in him in stopping this bloodletting and getting down to negotiating a lasting peace And why is it imperative for EVERYONE to get Deif? He is a psychopath, lusts in blood letting, is a pathological liar, juvenile and completely devoid of empathy and morals And taking him out will help stop this war overnight We say to Ex Hamas Gaza Patriots in hiding (now exceeding 180) who are fighting to SAVE GAZA - Before you do anything - GET DEIF FIRST
20. Sounds like Shifa hospital
US citizen ,   Atlanta, US   (07.31.14)
would make a good target for a ground operation, akin to SEAL team, looking for tunnels, doesn't it?
21. Gas the tunnels to bring Hamas out+then destroy them
Sam ,   Canada   (07.31.14)
Clear out the tunnels.
22. There will always be Hamas as there will always be Jewhaters
Alan ,   SA   (07.31.14)
So Gaza should be so destroyed and damaged beyond recognition that the "innocent civilians" should tremble at the thought of allowing the Hamas to be their leaders Same in WW2...I dont think many Nazi Leaders were assasinated over thde course of the war... Remember Hitlers Bunkers etc but the damage wrought was hellish..That made Germans think again!
23. 18 Sarah, very well said
CJK   (07.31.14)
yes, go after their money. however, eliminate them also if possible.
24. Hamas leaders
Ellie ,   Chicago USA   (08.01.14)
They can't find them because they're not there. They're in Lebanon and other Hamas friendly states like Qatar.
