Hamas can end this war at the blink of a eye! raise a white flag and surrender. It is not Israels obligation, or in its best interest to agree to a cease fire. Yes there are innocents that are dying but that falls on Hamas's shoulders not Israels. After Hamas surrenders Israel can graciously afford to do everything within its power to help the citizens of Gaza have a great place to live, and help them along the road to prosperity. But the burden is clearly on Hamas. Just as the Emperor of Japan surrendered for the the benefit and relief of its people so must Hamas be Compelled to do so. NOTHING LESS!

tunnels can be re-dug which few people seem to mention. So, unless Gaza is totally demilitarised IDF will be back in there a year and then again and again

Israel should have a strong defense strategy to preempt tunnel constructions anywhere in the surrounding hostile states and enclaves. Armed drones should be used to spy and preempt any constructions of tunnels. Behind the tunnel constructions and stockpiling of rocket bombs are evils minds. Rather then just focusing on the foot soldiers doing the dirty evil biddings of the evil minds, Israel should hunt and exterminate the latter. This will prevent future conflicts in the region.
