The UN can't tell the difference between a Hamas civilian and a Hamas militant. If the person wearing a dress and has a rifle under his dress, is he a civilian or a militant? Just like the UN can't tell whether a booby trapped health clinic with an opening to a tunnel is a UN Clinic or a Hamas trap.

Yeah, so what? If it comes from the United Nothings, than it's worth nothing.

the casualty figures are given by hamas and repeated by the un. hamas does not distinguish between fighters and genuine civilians. they count the deaths of human shields as civilian casualties even though they were killed by hamas.

the UN says 83 % from 1195 are cilivilans, so what about the other 500? The IDF says 47% of all (1600 ) are Hamas combattants (there are numerous videoclips showing the IDF taking them out), which is around 700 Hamas terrorist in total. Still the number of 290 children is horrible, but fact is the majority of casualties were men, most of them Hamas terrorists. The UN list has double names on it, names of non-existing people etc. as they have their numbers from the Hamas ministry of health. Go figure.

The Hamas should have allowed women and children into their Labyrinth of tunnels instead of using them for terror .The top echelons of Hamas were well Protected .Alot of children can fit into the Tunnels as Bunkers but Hamas chose War and Terror Provocations .

UN hedged their casualty count with the remark that its figures are "cross-checked to the best extent possible in the current situation...." I would love to see them cross-examined on the stand about the true extent of their verification attempts. Probably about as strong as their attempts to intercept weapons flowing to Hezbollah.

I've maintained that in order to qualify as a civilian one has to be civilized and from the pictures prior to these war they don't qualify, in other words,NO CIVILIANS WERE KILLED ONLY TERRORISTS AND FUTURE TERRORISTS.
