1. Meet HalfWay Not enough now
Zechariah   (08.04.14)
Possible now is a land swap for Settlements Strong IDF presence in the Jordan valley with huge Tunnel Highways to the 1947 Armistance Lines with immense Branches Everywhere .The Palestinian State would demilitirized but would have Scandavian Protection Elite Troops Large shared Areas would be in the Holy Land Armed To Repulse the inevitable Armegoddon.
2. Israeli retreat CAUSED all wars, rockets, terror.
Chaim ,   Israel   (08.04.14)
Leftist opinion, like what the author offers, is only good as a reverse barometer. Leftists have been dangerously wrong about every major issue since Israel was founded. The idea of supporting Fatah, which is even more dangerous than Hamas, is ludicrous. So is the idea of Israeli retreats. Israeli retreats CAUSED all the wars, rockets and terror.
3. Wounded by Hamas losses, goim world retaliates...
Miron ,   USA   (08.04.14)
a. Israel is against the world, protecting homeland from rockets. b. Israel is all right. c. To stop rockets Israel must... not respond back. And everything will be up to snaff. Well, it's a hard pill to swallow. We understand...
4. Correction: Many checkpoints went up after Oslo Accords
Logic ,   Israel   (08.04.14)
During the 1967-1993 era there were far fewer checkpoints, because the IDF was able to patrol their cities and root out terror. Once the autonomy began, checkpoints were set up by the Left wing Labor government to mitigate against the new terror hubs.
5. Israel Has Lost the War of World Opinion
World Citizen ,   the world   (08.04.14)
You can thank Bibi for that. He has dug you Israelis into a hole you will not climb your way out of. Justice for Palestine.
6. Half the story
Cauvery ,   Antwerp, Belgium   (08.05.14)
in this opinion I read only what Israel should do. Not a single statement what Israel can expect. Hamas not rearming is not sufficient. It must be disarmed till the smallest gun. Hamas must accept the international community's conditions if it wants to play any role. It are the ones like this author who are feeding Israeli perception of hostility.
7. Missed opportunity ?
Cauvery ,   antwerp, Belgium   (08.05.14)
Saying the Palestinian unified government is a missed opportunity is like insisting the Afghan government incorporate the Taliban.
8. #2 - right on!
