1. Well, that's easy to understand. Now...
Markus Valiant ,   Stockholm, Sweden   (08.06.14)
Send a hellfire missile right into their fakkin faces - hamas operatives, hamas sympathizers, hamas leaders. All of them.
2. Defeat
LJH ,   Canada   (08.06.14)
"The Zionist enemy doesn't want to admit defeat" These guys would make a great comedy team if the result of their comments weren't harming so many people. They should consider a career in stand up comedy when they are finally booted from gaza.
3. Hamas vows to renew fire
Albrecht Klein ,   Germany   (08.06.14)
Get it on! The IDF will flatten what is left of Gaza.
4. Must be plenty of single girls up there

Gaza is in ruins. Hamas wants more? WOW.
7. Mental nut cases run Gaza. How do the people allow it?
Sam ,   Canada   (08.06.14)
What's the point in Hamas firing missiles that are going to be knocked down? Why should Gazans put up with the destruction that is sure to follow in Gaza? Do Gazans enjoy having their houses crushed for useless Hamas missiles?
8. AND THE WORLD THINKS HAMAS IS SO NOBLE...
stude ham   (08.06.14)
if hamas breaks the truce then Israel can also respond in even greater kind. hamas is totally unrealistic in its goals. ps... Israel must never give up its blockade of this merciless and relentless enemy.

10. Egypt has to go in to demilitiarize Gaza
Rafael ,   Sydney   (08.07.14)
Egypt has to go in to demilitiarize Gaza. As has been clearly shown, the "world" does't care if Arabs kill Arabs or Muslims kill Muslims, so Egypt would be able to go from area to area removing weapons. Maybe a pipe dream, but it would be in Egypts interest to also remove the Muslim Brotherhood stronghold in Gaza.
11. This is exactly what blind hatred does
Chilling truth   (08.07.14)
to Hamas . It flattens out Gaza and causes lots o pain and suffering, but Hamas wouldn't take the lesson. Not even for their own people, for their own children. These are devils, not human beings.
12. Hamas resumes rocketry
graczek ,   Maryland, USA   (08.07.14)
Hamas will resume rocketry and rightly so. There can be no cessation of struggle until Zionism has been obliterated and all is Palestine is free from the River to the Sea. This result is inevitable.
13. Israel LOST
Emuna ,   Jerusalem   (08.06.14)
I fail to see the victory here. We allowed the Amalakites to kill over 60 of our holy soldiers due to a sick policy of "Purity of Arms ". We have set a new sick standard for fighting a war. Not one Jewish soldier had to die if we fought the war like Moshe Rabbenu would have. We sacrificed our boys to please Obama and Kerry. And for this obamination, State Department spokeswoman had this to say, " Israel must do more to meet its own standards and avoid civilian casualties, the suspicion that militants are operating nearby does not justify strikes that put at risk the lives of so many innocent civilians."
14. Israel continues to show weakness by agreeing to release
Chaim ,   Israel   (08.07.14)
terrorists. Bibi must be replaced immediately. He's a coward and doesn't know how to handle Arabs.
15. haniyeh won't extend truce and will start firing
iraj   (08.07.14)
haniyeh will start firing when truce is over. Take him and all other hamas leaders and send them to allah.
16. guess never heard phrase: want to make my day, punk

17. Great while it lasted.
manicdrummer ,   Haifa, Israel   (08.07.14)
I guess by the time the current ceasefire ends, all of Hamas' crew will have completed their potty breaks. Bibi, cal up the troops again and this time, keep up the fight no matter what.
18. Bibi must be FIRM: total demilitarization or NO crossings!
Dr. L. Brnd ,   San Diego, USA   (08.07.14)
Gaza will remain sealed to all commerce through Israel unless Hamas disarms completely - no rockets, no launchers, no explosives, no rocket factories, no tunnel-digging machines. All must be surrendered before any commerce goes in or out of Israeli crossings. No country in the history of the world has allowed an enemy that wages war against it, that rejects its existance, to enjoy normal commercial passage through its borders, and using its harbors and airports. NO, NO, NO. And Israel must make bluntly clear that NO rebuilding aid or materials will be allowed into Gaza from so-called "donors" unless Israel is fully compensated in hard currency for all of its financial losses from the Hamas rocket war, done to its businesses, airlines and tourism. Or Gaza gets not one spoonful of concrete. If Obama and EU don't like that, they had better pony up the billions Israel lost, ofrGaza will stay the way it is. On noral principle, all Israeli buildings hit and personal property lost to Hamas rockets must be fully repaired/replaced before any re-construction flows through Israel. Think of it as a tax on the "donors" contributions to Hamas - for using Israeli land and ports to get it there.
19. More Rocket Mentality
ik ,   USA   (08.07.14)
Looks as if it's time for some good old fashioned carpet bombing. That should put an end to the rockets and the threats of more rockets.
20. Netanyahu will capitulate in some way!
Eli Bodie ,   USA   (08.07.14)
Israel shouldn't be negotiating anything other than complete disarmament with Israeli supervision!
21. FACT
Gershon ,   London   (08.07.14)
Lets face: this whole war (like those before )was purely a fundraising exercise. They knew they would lose. But before the war it was known that Hamas was utterly broke and Abbas refused to pay 40000 Hamas salaries. So how do they get money? War! They r going to get another massive influx of gelt (Norway has organized a donor conference set for september). Nothing like a good war against Israel to raise lots of hard cash from all the palestinian/hamas loving western countries.
22. Yes the problem is MENTAL and not political
Alfredo ,   Raanana   (08.07.14)
23. Extension of the cease fire
Valerie ,   Ra'anana   (08.07.14)
I have yet to hear what Hamas is offering. All we hear is their demands
24. Hamas will not relent unless & until TOTAL Destruction!
Son of Cyrus ,   uk   (08.07.14)
Gaza will be totally destroyed! If Hamas is asking for it, please IDF oblige them!!!
25. @LJH Canada:prove your virility...
DvorahTheProphetess ,   Sc, USA   (08.07.14)
