1. How lucky can we get!

2. Seaport - sorry but no way we going to let you
barbara ,   Haifa Israel   (08.10.14)
have seaport or airport so that you can get more ammunition and maybe better weapons. Even PA authority and UN peacekeepers would not be trusted, as soon as you bribed them to let these items into Gaza.
3. If Israel doesn't capitulate to Hamas demands,....
Ian ,   Newcastle upon Tyne   (08.10.14)
...Hamas will fight to the last drop of the Gazans' blood. But the Hamas political leaders will be nice and safe in Doha and Haniyeh and his cronies will be ok in the basement of the Shifa hospital. I doubt that the Gazans have ever been asked if this is what they want and I doubt that they ever will be. . . . - THREE CHEERS FOR ISRAEL!!!
4. Palestinians accepting 3 day ceasefire is not Hamas
Chaim ,   Israel   (08.10.14)
accepting it. When Israel will learn to attack properly, Hamas will respect Israel and will automatically stop. As long as Israel is fighting like cowards with their hands tied to their backs, Hamas has the upper hand and control over the situation.
5. They accept ceasefire while rockets continue. ISRAEL=NUTS

8. so, after Gaza's a waste land...
BUILD BABY BUILD!!!!   (08.10.14)
will any of you critics of Netanyahu admit you were wrong? Hamas is giving Israel the green light for total the demolition of Gaza. Hamas ( accidentally ?) blew up Gaza's water treatment plant. Now, the result is putrid water , if any plus, one ecological disaster with raw sewage rushing to the sea. The longer Hamas keeps firing rockets, the less chance the pals have as a people. So, fire away and don't be so harsh on Netanyahu. He will take Hamas down after he flattens Gaza. Watch, see and cheer! GO ISRAEL ALL THE WAY!!!!!
9. that Hamas leader is the evil
k ,   US   (08.10.14)
He is a evil, that picture of him on the main page looks as he is an evil thing
10. Cease-fire Condition
Jake ,   Haifa   (08.10.14)
The only condition Israel must have before agreeing to a ceasefire is that any Gazan who wishes can move to Norway, Ireland, Scotland, Brazil, or any of the other countries supporting Hamas in the current conflict. If these countries truly have sympathy for the Gazans, certainly they will want to live with them.
11. Hamas
yoav ,   canada   (08.10.14)
A Palestinian official said tonight (Sunday), the Turkish news agency "Anatolia" that Egypt obtained the consent of the Palestinians and the Israelis cease-fire of 72 hours. According to the report, Egypt will announce a cease-fire later. Hamas Gaza managed to get the estimated amount of money in millions of dollars, that was the last two months, and which enabled him to pay the salaries of men - reported at noon news agency "Sawa". According to the report, in the last hours were transferred to all members of the military wing, Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the payroll funds last two months, and in the coming hours will also be paid salaries of government officials (former Hamas government). It is still unclear how the organization was able to put so much money into the Gaza Strip, and if this is a move intended, among other things, to pave the way for a cease-fire. My site has articles on the same subject. http://enigma-group.co.il/
12. comments from a foreign jew
jerold   (08.10.14)
I look at bibi and see a weakling, very similar to olmert, who shakes in his boots for all of his tough talks. it is hamas who appears stronger eventhough they got smashed but not enough. Ben zion netanyahu, father of bibi said long ago that bibi is infit to be pm like olmert, peres, and livni. At most he is a foreign secretary. Instead of being cold blooded to pursue a cutting edge operation against hamas, he holds onto livni and lapid in a slow ponderous operation marked now by useless negotiations. YAALON is damaging himself by aligning with these ignorant olmert pacifists.
13. Wrong headline
Ephraim ,   Jerusalem   (08.11.14)
Headline should just read, "Israel Surrenders". AGAIN. What the ? happened to Bibi? Is he getting senile? All our soldiers died for nothing because of our inept, cowardly government. Children in the south traumatized over and over again. WHY? Shame on them and shame on us for voting in these incompetent fools. Time for term limits in the Knesset instead of the same old retreads over and over.
14. dear mr prime minister.
les ,   canada   (08.10.14)
aren't you running out of WHITE FLAGS? you are putting the IDF/IAF to shame acknowledging hezbollah has won the war (again).
15. Wrong move
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (08.10.14)
You have to whittle the "palestinians" down. Expose them for the fraudulent terrorists they are. Not cotton to them. The "palestinians" have absolutely nothing to offer Israel. They have no intention of adhering to any agreement. Israel should not have agreed to any kind of cease fire. The "palestinians" must be stripped bare -- no dignity, no honor, no "saving face." Israel needs to continue the operation until the "palestinians" come crawling, and agree to unconditional surrender. No port. No airport. No opening of border crossings. No increased humanitarian aid, which costs Israel plenty enough already -- money which should be spent on Israeli citizens. The "palestinians" are filthy animals -- worse, in many ways, than the Nazis. Israel should continue to bomb them, relentlessly, until they learn their lesson. The "palestinians" must be treated the way the Allies treated the Nazis; before and after Germany's complete and unconditional surrender. The Allies took the point of view that the only way to eradicate Nazism was to eradicate the Nazis, and their supporters -- man, woman and child. The only way to eradicate "palestinian" terrorism is to eradicate the terrorists. Man, woman and child. Then, build on the base of whatever is left. If nothing is left, it's an opportunity to build something new and better. Otherwise, we'll dance this dance again, and more innocent Jews will pay the price for Israel's reluctance.
16. They/We are dealing with the essence of Evil
grieving, hoping   (08.10.14)
This must not be allowed to be forgotten. We are with you, decision makers. Just make our beloved 'Group of 64' proud of you and proud of their /our beloved country. Also for the sake of our wounded and suffering, such a large brave group.. Keep all these precious people in mind in every minute of decision making. They sought and gave so much, to eradicate dark deathly Evil for the sake of us all.
17. Hamas Demands to Negotiate
Jack Holan ,   USA   (08.10.14)
Once again in this crazy world of Arab Mentality. Lose a War, then make demand of the winner to negotiate, and it's your way or the highway. I hope Israel does not accede to this madness.

a subway to the West bank.
20. What's the point?
milwaukeebroad ,   Haifa, Israel   (08.10.14)
Either the fighting stops once and for all or we fight to the end, winner take all. A 72-hour truce is nothing more than a chance for both sides to reload.
21. re#3
Cali Lib ,   Los Angeles   (08.10.14)
And Israel's leaders are on the front lines? They send 20 year olds to protect settlement's and into Gaza knowing that will be targets. At least Hamas is a voluntary army, Israeli youth are forced to join the IDF. Did you notice that 90% of the IDF casualties were teens and 20 year olds?

23. #21 TELL YOU HAM ASS BOYS TO COME OUT OF HIDING
IRANIAN JEW ,   LA USA   (08.11.14)
and fight face face and you will how those 20 year olds will kill all of them. You have no idea how things are done in Israel or Gaza. You just read bunch of lies on internet and since acting on emotions like a child has become a pass time in America so you shed tears for bunch of lies. Go To Israel and Gaza and see for yourself and then talk. Israel is not finishing HAM ASS FOR TWO REASONS: 1. POWER VACCUM IF THEY ARE GONE. 2. THE AMOUNT OF CIVILIANS THAT WILL DIE IN THE PROCESS. YOUR HAM ASS BOYS DO NOT WEAR ARMY CLOTHES WHEN THEY FIGHT. WATCH i24news.tv and you will see that.
24. ISRAEL AGAIN SHOWS RESTRAIN AND HUMANITY
IRANIAN JEW ,   LA USA   (08.11.14)
to the world. Too bad, the news makers care only to make money on negative news. BIBI is doing the right thing by buying international support this way. The world will see the light soon. Too bad, we have to suffer until then.
