1. This is the right approach
Dan   (08.13.14)
Ethics is not about numbers, but intentions. Judging an action by its effects rather than it's intended effects is called consequentialism, and is a discredited criterion among moral philosophers, for the reasons this article explains. Israel must educate the world about morality so people understand what it is doing.
2. Let's hear another chorus "we are the victim"
USA   (08.13.14)
3. I recognize which US media sources are propaganda
Texana ,   Austin, Texas   (08.13.14)
I read widely international and US media sources daily and was sickened by the reporting in the BBC, CNN, CBS, MSNBC, and many others just to name a few. I will never turn to these sources for news again. Never. They were totally transparently biased, inaccurate, and unprofessional. It's disgusting.
4. no failure
(08.13.14)
The media did not fail. Media is not about truth or fairness. Professionally they succeeded by making lots of money by stoking the fire of Jew hatred. Ethically they achieved what their owners want, the preparation for elimination of the Jews.
5. If Hamas could they would invade and Destroy
Zechariah   (08.13.14)
If Gaza could they would invade and destroy without the warning phone calls .Only Fear of the USA and its Capacities would in anyway inhibit their charge .Same applies to all Islamic states and many Neonazi People's.
6. UN 'fact-finders' will see fake Gaza, too
Roxanne ,   Haifa   (08.13.14)
7. Don't make me laugh...
Eva Caruzzo ,   Athens, Greece   (08.14.14)
..and don't make the rest of the world laugh.
8. Drop World War II
Sherlock Holmes ,   London England   (08.14.14)
I agree with the entire article except that Germany was defeated mainly by the USSR not by the USA, and even Britain played a lesser role than the Soviets numerically. Stick to the Middle East.
9. Lack of journalistic integrity
Ozraeli ,   Australia   (08.14.14)
1. If the global media had even a modicum of journalist integrity (especially CNN, with it's own walking, talking, whining d__khead, Karl Penhaust - "Oh, the children, the children, their tiny bodies...") , it would preface every report from Gaza by embedded reporters with a declaration (or scrolling warning beneath): "The casualties & statistics reported are supplied by Hamas. We have no way of verifying them, & as our correspondents are constantly "accompanied" by armed Hamas "Press Officers", & are in mortal danger, we are repeating them verbatim. We expect further clarification when hostilities cease". 2. I also refer to a JPost article by Alan Dershowitz regarding the gross statistical skewing & manipulation of killed & wounded by Hamas; & the the global media's verbatim reporting of it as virtually gospel. 3. In addition, just like in hostage situations where the abductor wants publicity, try the "Go to your corner, we are ignoring you - you get no publicity at all" approach. They will learn fast. How many networks actually reported from within Gaza, not from cushy apartments on the periphery? New Delhi TV? Finnish TV? All the rest were distant observers (but with impeccably fitted flak jackets & shiny helmets!). 4. Another possibility is reporting only from Israel & Egypt, & from press tours organised & protected by legitimate Nation-States, openly declaring that reporters are not inside Gaza due to danger, mistrust, & pressure of Hamas, a globally recognised terror organisation. Believe me, the journalistic integrity will be unimpaired, & IMO, with wireless Internet, smartphones, Twitter, Instagram, etc, the local war correspondent idiot talking head (grossly ignorant of language, history, the military, & politics) is extraneous, aside from plagarism, spreading rumours, jacking up bar bills & padding expense accounts.
10. # 7 What makes you laugh ?
Moshe ,   Israel   (08.14.14)
If it is the facts presentation and brilliant argumentation of this article, then make your point. Barking is not enough.
11. BBC, NY Times & CNN Celebrating Nazi Propaganda-Boycott them
