1. What's in the agreement for Israel?
Ben S ,   Free World   (08.13.14)
2. Leaked proposal will not pass - it is Israel surrender
Eric ,   Tel Aviv & NYC   (08.13.14)
There is no way that Bibi will be able to pass this even if they agree to return the 2 dead bodies. It is a complete Israel surrender to terror.
3. Rx for World Peace: 72-hour doses
DvorahTheProphetess ,   SC, USA   (08.13.14)
"Take 2 World Peaces every 72 hours and call me in the morning." Some real heavy brainwork went into this prescription.
4. Nu ?
Mike ,   NZ   (08.13.14)
I dont get it . . . what does Israel get out of this ? Have you lost your marbles BiBi.
5. "If you want peace, prepare for war"
bruce ,   upper galil   (08.13.14)
6. From this article one understands that
Israeli   (08.14.14)
Israel will get zilch, nada. So, what is the Spiel in this so called agreement? Weren't we supposed to weaken and disarm Hamas to the point of humiliation where they should not demand anything, but their very lives? Where is Israel in this whole equation? Only waiting and allowing other powers to strongly relay Hamas's impertinent demands?
7. You cannot extend ceasefire + continue to shoot rockets !
barbara ,   Haifa Israel   (08.14.14)
We should draw up a limit amount of rocket fire and then hit Gaza with full force. What kind of ceasefire is this ? 3-4 rockets in last 20 minutes ? You've got to be kidding - or it is the usual cat and mouse game that Hamas loves to play.
8. Lending the enemy a helping hand!
Taz Man ,   USA   (08.14.14)
Does any of this make sense to anyone? Give the enemy an inch...and, they'll take it and run a mile with it! Yeah, like "knocking on the roof", thus giving these Muslim savages' time for counter-measures. War is NOT suppose to be fought like this! The only goal should be utter destruction of those trying to destroy you. Now, this makes sense!
9. 2
yonatan Allon ,   adelaide/Israel   (08.14.14)
Don't bet on it.Hamas will come out of it as a winner because it has nothing to lose and does not care about civilian casualties.
10. Hamas is leading Israel by their nose giving
George   (08.14.14)
demands and instructions and Netanyahu is accepting it like a good little boy. Only if Hamas terrorists will change their minds (if they have any) and start shooting will Israel shoot back - but not at terrorists though as they're all innocent, but at empty lots.
11. what happened to "no extention"?
Larry ,   LA (formerly)   (08.14.14)
It is obvious that Hamas is hurting very very much and wants to stop the fighting so that they can re-arm and re-build before the Israelis totally destroy them. Remember they just a few days ago announced that there will be no extension or another cease fire! There is no need to compromise with them since the Israelis hold all of the cards. It is important to Hamas to show the Islamic world some victory over Israel, but it is more important for Israel to be victorious over Hamas, since in reality they are. With out Hamas removed from Gaza, we are looking for another war in 3-5 years.
12. All Israeli concessions
Israel Watchdog ,   Akko, Israel   (08.13.14)
All of those demands are Israeli concessions, with a gain gain gain for Hamas and Gaza. Where are the concessions from Gaza? What, just that they won't fire rockets? No, I'm sorry, but the days of Israel doing all the giving are over. Israel "MUST NOT" give into these demands!
13. Un-freakin'-believable!!!!!!!!!!!
Z.Z. Coltrane ,   USA   (08.14.14)
I've heard of going the extra-mile, but this is totally ridiculous! This cowardly Israeli government, especially, Netanyahu...is a pathetic joke! I feel so sorry for the Israeli people, but more so for the brave warriors who have died trying to protect their people, and, sadly, the misplaced political aspirations of their sorry-arsed government! May God judge these worthless cowards!!!!!!!!! Where's a King David when you need him most?! Again, to the Israelis: my prayers are with you. Keep faith in Hashem's merciful, faithful provisions. God bless Israel; praying for the peace of Jerusalem! Christian Zionist
14. truce extension
ched nadal ,   tel aviv   (08.14.14)
Israel agrees to 72 hr extension of talks on truce.... despite of continuous rocket in the South? What kind of game Bibi is playing? What kind of bomb is he going to drop on us? So many questions, so many doubts and nowhere to get answers. More extensions = more sufferings.
15. Lifting the blockade would be a disaster
American Durzeem ,   Dallas USA   (08.14.14)
If Israel agrees to lift and blockade and enable Hamas to take control, they will flood Gaza with weapons and jihadis manpower that will exterminate the jews, Christians, Druze and every other ethnic minority.
16. truce extension
(08.14.14)
This is like pouring water on a ducks back- Hamas are Terrorists-(Period) is the Gov still dreaming of peace? We must destroy Hamas take over Gaza and let Abbas run Gaza with our guideance- there is no other way!
17. 12
yonatan Allon ,   adelaide/Israel   (08.14.14)
I wish that you were right but Israel does what the US demands or suffers the consequences.Bibi is totally under Obamas thumb. The war should have been all over but for Bibi's bad judgement and that he and his top ministers disagree.
