The french cannot exactly have a rocket amnesty and Hamas can come hand over their rockets. Hamas are not going to give up their rockets no way, not to the French and certainly not to Abbas who would come out of it looking like a treacherous Israeli stooge if he tried. If of course the frnech can demilitarise Gaza then by all means lets remove all restrictions even let Abbas have his seaport but as long as Hamas have rockets and are getting more then no deals.
