1. I never thought I would want Bibi out, BUT....
Shep Fargotstein ,   Memphis, TN - USA   (08.27.14)
Handing Hamas a victory - and let's be clear, anything less than a humilating Hamas surrender is their victory - is opening up a pandora's box of continues missles from both the north and the south.
2. Truce deal
yoel ,   Israel   (08.26.14)
This is a big mistake - Hamas is only wanting time to replenish their Rockets- I say Gaza must be demilitarized - peace will only come through an armed conflict. not through more bla-bla-bla usless talk.
3. Spineless. Political hack BIBBI !
P.henry ,   Longmont, USA   (08.27.14)
What ever happened to (NEVER AGAIN) BIBBI has turned into a (BEND over and grab your ankles political hack) what does does a few dead IDF and civilians matter ? PEACE at any PRICE,BIBBI ?
4. Time for a change
Shalom ,   Ashdod   (08.26.14)
It is time to offer a vote of no-confidence in the Kennest and then have the other parties re-align under a new leader (Lapid or Bennett) and have Shas and possibly Labor join in for a new government. It is time for a PM who can make difficult decisions. During the last two wars in Gaza, Bibi showed that he does nor play to win
5. definition of chutzpah
(08.26.14)
Gal-On says "The grief that this pointless operation inflicted on the people of Israel was inflicted upon us by an irresponsible government." Actually, the grief was inflicted by Hamas, who received there weapons from Gal-on herself.
6. disgusting!
tom ,   toronto, canada   (08.27.14)
the guns aren't even silent yet, but the backbiting has already begun! the cabinet ministers are slinging mud at each other, not realizing that it's hard to stay clean that way, and the leftists cannot condemn netanyahu enough for defending israel. the only good news is that a ceasefire will either give the front line a rest, or improve israel's image, if and when the terrorists resume firing. as in previous abortive ceasefires, the idf will continue to identify targets and prepare its resp
7. to #2: you are wrong
tom ,   toronto, canada   (08.27.14)
a ceasefire will not help hamas to rearm, unless the border crossings and/or smuggling tunnels are reopened. the most they can do is steal civilian supplies from their own people, but they could do that even without a ceasefire. (supplies have never stopped throughout the fighting.) as for disarming hamas, good luck with that. the un or the americans can't be trusted to guard a piece of meat at a vegan convention. and hamas won't put down its weapons without a fight. so when you say "disarmed", you mean an israeli reoccupation of gaza, for an indefinite period, while the idf goes house to house, hunting down armed terrorists, and dynamiting arms caches and tunnels as it goes. that sounds like a recipe for a very bloody and unpleasant adventure, which will result in a lot of dead people, and major damage to israel's image. in other words, another "victory" for pallywood.
8. If they ever get the balls to evict Zoabi, Gal-on should
(08.27.14)
follow in her steps. All the way to the Promised Land of Gaza, the spiritual cradle of both of these Jihadi Fascists.
9. anytime you have a defense minister in agreement
erin ,   usa Israel   (08.27.14)
with the Head of state, that means they know something you don't know. Ask, maybe they'll tell you about a thousands year old battle going on.

LAPID who rebrands himself constantly according to public opinion and whose desire for a regional conference will only lead to the Saudi plan being adopted by the left. The man is a snake and not to be trusted. LABOR - contributed nothing useful in years BENNETT - first priority is building settlements because he is an idealst. SHAS - all they want is money for yeshivot. You thank that would be a good government?
11. Bennett the hypocrite
Zionist forever   (08.27.14)
Couple of weeks ago Bennett was calling to let the humanitarian aid in and reimpose the siege. That's basically what he got and more. All that's happening now is aid is being allowed in and long term solutions to be negotiated with Abbas next month. As a bonus the UN Security Council will draft a resolution calling for Gaza to be demilitarised and if Abbas wants to keep credibility in the UN he will have to take action. Bennett is now political point scoring and nothing else, for now we got what he wanted & a UN resolution.
12. 5 you are an idiot, Galon is absolutely right!

Jhan   (08.27.14)
This is just posturing, if they really disagreed with Booboo's treason and murders of young jews they would have resigned a long time ago.
14. Cool off guys

Bibi's children had a lost summer. No trips.
15. Sadly, must agree with all of the above 1-5!

Micha ,   Sydney, Australia   (08.27.14)
It is clear to me that Netanyahu rushed into this war without any real strategy and with no exit plan. We failed to stop the rockets and we certainly did not succeed in destroying Hamas. We actually made Hamas stronger and gave them international legitimacy. Netanyahu is a failure. It is time to give the Gazans a seaport under international control. Who is mighty? He who can turn an enemy into a friend (Talmud).
