The one area that always seems to be be neglected by the idealists and politicians when it comes to spending on settlements is the Golan despite the fact we need as many people as possible there make sure no future politicians give it away. Rabin, Peres, Barak, Bibi during his first term, Olmert they have all come close to giving away the Golan but thank to either Assad senior & junior or in Olmerts case time limitations as PM the deal fell through but to keep it we need people living there in huge numbers and the Syrian war is an opportunity because nobody is calling for a peace process with Syria so nobody cares if we build or not.
