1. The one good thing ...
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (09.02.14)
... is that Egypt does not feel itself to be under any constraints. They have NO problem turning the Sinai into a wasteland. Nice not to have to worry about an international response. There won't be one.
2. SINAI & GAZA TURNED TO WASTELAND
IRANIAN JEW ,   LA USA   (09.02.14)
The world wants to give PALIS more land. And it has no idea that they are not going to be satisfied with it. It makes no difference to them. Their rich spend money and once they get fed up with up, they turn onto Jihad. Their poor has no choice but to follow the Islamist or just die. There is no hope for these people. They do not wish to live on this planet. They just want destruction.
3. the best solution in sinai
tom ,   toronto, canada   (09.02.14)
the best solution for sinai is joint egyptian-israeli operations. with communications to both sides, joint patrols can both direct artillery and air cover, and avoid "provocations" where the terrorists try to draw fire on a regular army position, to provoke a firefight. joint operations also build trust and mutual respect, which is not a bad thing, if you want to build a lasting peace.
