3. Protective Edge was NOT a failure..
Beary Whtie ,   Norway   (09.28.14)
Looks like the leftis have taken over the media..and repeating the "failure" word, to make it true!! The operation was well done as far as possible under the current situation,,,with the option of saving civilians at the strip as far as possible. Yes, the ultimate goal would be to remove the Islamic hamass completely, but the loss of life would be huge... ..far above the limit of what now has been tolerated as a result of hamass terror against Israel. Israel got a great understanding by the rest of the western world to do this operation, a tactical god maneuver, timely prepared...

5. Egypt-Israel Alliance
Jake ,   USA   (09.28.14)
Egypt & Israel have no territorial disputes. If the two powerful nations upgrade their relationship to form a military alliance, not only will it bring stability to Gaza, it has the potential to stabilize the entire region.
6. Israel cannot let enemy aliens enter, transit her territory
CJK   (09.28.14)
the entire world has woken up to the danger of letting in enemy aliens. these aliens might not present as immediately dangerous but they will turn dangerous at any moment.
7. Count the US Out
Mark ben Josef ,   USA   (09.28.14)
1. The US is broke and not in the mood to rebuild anything Palestinian or for Palestinians or even for our own children. Schools in the US are going begging. 2. Count the US out. An occupation is an occupation and would result in casualties to any non-Palestinian troops. And Palestinians are not allowed to be equipped to enforce anything Hamas does not agree to. 3. Assassinations and violence in Gaza will be noticed. Political spin will fool nobody. They know that Israel had lots of spies in Gaza before the last operation. Several got executed for spying for Israel. 4. Duping the Arab countries is already expected. Doubtful they will agree to pick up and support Israeli repression of Gaza.
8. Here's a better plan!!!
Jake Stone ,   USA   (09.28.14)
Stop all the nonsense! Respect God and not men! ALL the land belongs to Israel (per the Abrahamic Covenant)--period! Throw-out all Arab occupying forces out of Israel; send these godless savages back to their respective countries. Thus, Gaza's return to its rightful owners (Israel) allows for the rebuilding and the planting of Israeli families throughout Israeli lands. Just imagine how beautiful Israel could be without all the destructive activities of the Muslim hordes! Israel needs God-fearing leaders' to do what must be done: cut-out the Muslim/Arab cancer that is currently eating-away at Israel's national consciousness. Until Israel's leadership comes to the realization that they have a special bond to the land by way of God's Covented promise, they will continue to suffer at the hands of the surrounding Muslims! God ordered take the land of Canaan--period! Again, until the descendants' of Ishmael and Esau are dealt with (stop the politically correct games), they will continue to be the proverbial thorn-in-the-side! God never intended this current political fiasco; be assured He isn't pleased with the weak, cowardly Israeli leadership! God raised-up the great King David; Israel needs another--and NOW! God bless Israel and His Jerusalem!!! A Christian Zionist

10.  Turning Defeat into Victory
Judah ,   West Bank   (09.30.14)
In recent history the only one who accomplished this was Anwar Sadat who convinced his people that the Yom Kippur War was a victory for Egypt. His reward for this amazing feat was assassination. The message has not been lost by the Palestinians.
