1. And there you have it.
Brad ,   USA   (10.02.14)
Israeli leaders have the brains, and US leaders have the poop.
2.  Minister Ya'alon, rejected request?
Bill ,   Skokie U.S.A.   (10.02.14)
Why is this a defense ministry decision? I'll tell you why, Ebola is a weapon! As soon as the terrorist intentionally infect their suicide personnel by the thousands they will then infect the rest of us. I suspect that Ebola was created in some country's biological weapons division of their country's defense ministry, and the reason this a military decision is because of that fact.
3. "Growing threat to regional and global security"
ASTRONAUT ,   USA   (10.02.14)
Despite recent proclamation [by Obama., et., al.,] that the Ebola virus presents a "growing threat to regional and global security..." the Obama administration is NOT recommending travel restrictions to areas affected by the virus. Source: Breitbart.com.
4. Wise decision
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (10.02.14)
We are already sending medical supplies and we will continue to do so. But we will not send medical teams. Funny how the United Nations loves to criticize Israel at the drop of a hat, and makes false allegations about the State of Israel that fall well within defamation -- both libel and slander. But when Israeli expertise and superiority in medicine and emergency field hospital organization and management are needed, the United Nations -- knowing no shame -- comes crawling to Israel. To hell with that. Send the International Red Cross; send the Red Crescent. Get some Arab and Moslem physicians on board. I wouldn't put it past the United Nations to deliberately infect an Israeli team member with Ebola. A class act, the United Nations is not.
5. To: Facebook Victor Deeb
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (10.02.14)
It's not cowardice, you moron; it's wisdom in abundance. However, if you feel that strongly about it, why don't you go?
6. Yaalon is right! In Israel when one sneezes everyone catches
Ted   (10.02.14)
It is a small country. Most people are not trained to quarantine themselves or prevent spreading of infectious disease.
7. Considering Overwhelming African Support Of Israel
David H ,   Marietta USA   (10.02.14)
A very wise decision. Politics has its consequences. Let the UN and the Arab States do some humanitarian work for a change, rather than their endless anti-Semitic rantings.
8. Self-Image of Jews
Norm L Jew ,   Galut   (10.02.14)
Now those Jews who think that nobody cares about us can take heart....When there is a highly infectious disease outbreak in failed states, the UN calls the Jewish State right away! Okay, they demand we not defend ourselves from homicidal maniacs, but they do know our phone number when there is a job that they are afraid to tackle themselves!
9. Good - finally some wisdom.

11. The best way to stop the virus.
Susan ,   Kfar Saba   (10.03.14)
I saw a tv show once about a small village in Africa that had an ebola outbreak. Anyone who took care of the sick also got the disease and died, so the survivors decided not to touch the sick. Of course, the sick all died, but the rest of the people didnt catch it and the epidemic petered out. It seems cruel, but the best thing to do is to leave the sick to their fate and not touch them. Im more interested to know what our country will do to keep this disease out of Israel as it seems to have entered the USA already.
12. Smart move, very smart move.
BUILD BABY BUILD!!   (10.04.14)
African customs make ending this virus nearly impossible. Sart move Israel. stay out of Africa.
13. The correct solution.
