Unfortunately and wrongly, too many associate the actions of the government of the state of Israel as being actions of all persons of the Jewish faith. This is a gross oversimplification and it is grossly wrong and unfair to Citizens of other countries who happen to be Jewish. Many Jewish folk in countries other than Israel have no connection whatsoever with Israel and of those people, many want nothing to do with Israel's policies or actions. Jewish people in other countries deserve the respect of their countrymen. And they deserve to be recognized as being just as German (or American, or British, or whatever) as the next person. Their support or lack of support of Israel is of not determined by their religion.

I agree that more is needed in "condemnation of Israeli policy of occupation, land grab and ethnic cleansing." But let us also agree that there is way too much threat to Israeli security and the challenges to its right to exist are way too numerous. The right wing in Israel would be much weaker today if Israel wasn't threatened so much. There are very many wonderful people in Israel, actually a majority among Israeli citizens, who reject the right wing opinions and condemn the occupation. They need our support, including yours.
