1. Current Israeli government
Nadya ,   California, USA   (12.02.14)
Why doesn't the government adopt term limits beginning now? Enough of Netanyahu, let the public decide.
2. Don't take B.S. from Lapid. He will be gone soon
Chaim ,   Israel   (12.02.14)
Lapid's party is a very temporary one. Like Shinnui, Kadima and Hatnua. Don't take any B.S. from Lapid. He will be gone soon.
3. The Centrist Block will emerge victorious.
Michael ,   California, USA   (12.02.14)
The right wing and religious will form a block which will promise nothing but war for the occupied territories. The left wing will remain isolated due to its refusal to support the vibrant and productive Middle Class. Only the Centrist Block will offer hope for a positive change of a united Israel. The recent moves of Lieberman's party to support secular programs and of Hertzog's to build upon the thriving Middle Class are clear signs of a movement toward the political Center in Israel. I foresee the Centrist Block uniting around Yesh Atid and leading Israel toward a progressive coalition in the future which will find the way to renew peace negotiations, strengthen the economy, and improve Israel's cooperation with Europe and the US.
4. Arabic wasn't an official language
Joya ,   Israel   (12.02.14)
Israel - "The Constituent Assembly decided in February 1949 to remove english as an official language"
5. Rethoricians...
Joya ,   Israel   (12.02.14)
For example the debate on reelection in Latin American countries said: "as long as their own parties confirm their leaderships and citizens vote for them in every election, indefinite reelection of the same person is democratic" , but "since indefinite reelection reinforces the trend towards self-centered and predominant leadership and exposes the political system to the risk of a “dictatorship” it could be perceive as undemocratic" lol
6. A sickening display
ggg ,   Tel Aviv   (12.02.14)
from a man whose only means to staying on his seat is dirty deals with the equally self-serving haredi community who contribute NOTHING to this society. But...sooner or later, every dog has his day and this puffed up egomaniac may be underestimating the contempt in which he is increasingly held. Go read the Hebrew comments if you can, where the appetite for more Bibi is on the decline.
7. # 1 California dreaming
BUILD BABY BUILD!!!!   (12.02.14)
Israel DID elect Bibi and will again. Lapid is a loser who'll be back to square one after the election proves the point. Say, how's California's newer So. American 'residents' doing on your tax dollar? Don't Californicate Israel. KEEP BUILDING MORE HOMES FOR MORE JEWS !!!
8. !! Netanyahu - Substance; Others - Hot Air
Ovadiah ben Avraham ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (12.02.14)
As usual, Netanyahu's released position is all about issues, a list of them, while Yesh Atid and Labor are all about painting pictures of Netanyahu. Realism vs hot air.
9. # 2 Chaim my thoughts exactly.
BUILD BABY BUILD!!!!   (12.02.14)
They say everyone loves a winner and, so far, only Bibi won the war while obama is breaking every US law known to man. and NEVER won a war. VIVA ISRAEL!!! KEEP BUILDING !!!
10. WHAT IS THE POINT OF THE ELECTION?
IRANIAN JEW ,   LA USA   (12.02.14)
LAPID will not win, and Israel already chose BIBI and will choose BIB again. The issues BIBI is bringing up are all valid except for the JEWISH BILL. LAPID is just making himself irrelevant.
11. #10 The point of the election
Chaim ,   Israel   (12.02.14)
is JUST to get rid of Lapid and Livni, self-hating Jews who are out to destroy the Jewish state. And yes, bringing up the JEWISH NATIONHOOD BILL is valid. Israel IS a JEWISH STATE and those who don't like it can leave.
12. #7, We are doing GREAT in California, thanks for asking.
Michael ,   California, USA   (12.02.14)
The Hispanics in the US are doing a great job by supporting the economy, by integrating nicely into the society, by becoming very visible in politics. The most common view on the streets, in shops and restaurants of California cities (Los Angeles, San Francisco, Sacramento) are families consisting of Latinos mixed with White, Black, Asians and others, looking happy and prosperous. The recent modification of immigration laws is going to streamline Hispanics' positive integration into California's society and economy. Since you've asked, I am giving you the answer, which you can now convey to your friends in Israel who want to live and let live well.
