Autonomous Republic of Crimea hadn't done anything wrong. Because Ukraine is still having problems they decided for the security of Russia. If you look on a map, this is a very small area next to Ukraine. The Autonomous Republic of Crimea only left the former USSR and became this Autonomous Republic that has their own government, their own motto, their own flag and their Russian and Russian speakers. They've been no threat. Are Crimea people still friends with Ukraine? Was somebody robbed? Human rights correspond to social economic protests. Who's coming up with the answer for all the talk about human rights? President Putin does not deserve to be singled out like this. The Czeck Jewish community could say they're speaking from their heart to try and help a situation but there would be better ways than to politicize a ceremony marking the 70th anniversary of Auschwitz liberation. It would be good for the Czech Jewish community to have someone apologize to President Putin and say they would be honored if he were to find it in his busy schedule to attend the ceremony. There would be nothing inappropriate with this. When you say Jewish, there are certain connotations that make a correlation to Israel. This should not ever be forgotten. People should be looking out for each others best welfare and interests in all decency and in all righteousness. He's not Hitler and Russia was attacked and millions of Russians died too.

Dude they're not speaking from their heart they have an agenda that didn't die in 1948 when Stalin changed his mind - In 1944, it was suggested to Stalin to form a Jewish Soviet Socialist Republic in Crimea followed by ethnic cleansing shortly after executed by Kaganowich and his goons to 'create' a living space for their homies, to make it short, 1/3 of Crimean Tatars got murdered on the spot in their homes and backyards another 1/3 died of cold exposure and starvation in Gulags run also by his homies, the rest that managed to survive in other places in Siberia is coming home since 1990. Today many places at Crimea that are cleansed and void of Tatars are populated with Kaganowich's settlers and their offspring.

I'm embarrassed as a Jew--My hope is that Putin will understand that this is the doing of a very small minority and not the way most Jews feel.

The leadership of the Czech Jews' had just demonstrated a simple fact of nature: we Jews have moral pathetic screw ups like everybody else, and that is how it supposed to be. Putin --is irrelevant, the Soviet Red Army of 70 years ago , which had crashed German Nazis ---is not irrelevant. Therefore , Putin , as the symbol of that Army and people, absolutely should be invited, actually before anybody else!! And to add to stupidity and pathetic thinking--they are inviting Poroshenko, the president of the people who did not come clean about their participation in the murder of Jewish defenceless children , women and men. As a Jew I am simply disgusted with the Leadership of the Czech Jews.

I am ashamed by the Czech Jews who spoke out against Putin. Who do they think defeated the Nazi monster? It was the Russian people who Putin represents.
