The bottom line is Homeland is one of the best shows on television and it is fiction, however there is an old saying, one man's freedom fighter is another man's terrorist. Look at US history of supporting the Taliban and calling them freedom fighters when they where fighting the Soviet Union, That sure came back and bit us in the ars and then in Iraq when the US paid the Sunni's in Anbar province that now fight for ISIS and Obama taking Cuba off the list of terrorist nations and Israel negotiating directly with Yasser Arafat at Camp David.

Kindly use some logic...since 1948 Israel has legally reclaimed its own territory/country which had been taken over by a succession of rapacious invaders. The group of people who currently call themselves "Palestinians" never owned nor controlled Judea, Samaria nor any of the so-called "disputed" areas. Some of these people's ancestors, very very few, might have lived there for several centuries in the past but the majority of today's "Palestinians" are descendants of immigrants who arrived in that area AFTER the Jews initiated their country's land reclamation efforts in the 1880's. The claims of the Israeli Jews to their ancestral lands are by definition MUTUALLY EXCLUSIVE with the illegitimate claims made by any latecomers. Accordingly any violent action that entails harm to Israeli Jews and their property to attempt to illegally seize Israeli lands are ipso facto terrorism .

So how would you characterize the mass murder of tens of millions of native Americans by colonial invaders? At least the Jewish people were returning to their ancient homeland. You are wrong. The initial show was developed, produced and aired in Israel. Showtime bought the rights and promptly rewrote the screenplay. The American version and the Israeli original have nothing in common. By the way -- just so you know -- the American version's plot is patently absurd. The serving director of the CIA is not permitted to leave the continental United States. Talk about playing fast and loose with the truth!
