the shia terror regime must be destroyed. this totalitarian genocidal terror regime will never stop its attempt to annihilate the jewish state. nor will it ever stop its nuclear weapons program.

Iran drone is no match for iron dome
4. Saddam tried that trick, it didn't work
Juha Teuvonnen ,   Boston,MA USA   (12.29.14)
Good ol' Saddam Hussein tried weaponizing old Czechoslovakian built training aircraft. IF memory serves, he mostly did that to L-29, may be some L-39 as well. One could think of these as a "makeshift cruise missile". To make long story short, the performance of this "ersatz" was dismal at best. The iranian drone will likely perform even worse.
5. 1000 cheapo drones would overwhelm any carrier defenses
Peter ,   Jerusalem   (01.03.15)
Carriers are far bigger and slower than this drone. They could defend themselves against a few dozen, but not against thousands at the same time. Too many targets for phalanx to engage.
6. #3. Iron dome only works against slow unguided rockets.
Peter ,   Jerusalem   (01.03.15)
This drone can change course in mid air in erratic ways. Only AAA guns, lasers, SAMs or MANPADs could tackle them.
