The Script does Stray from aspects of the Original Text which is most probably a Embellished account.Nevertheless their were Slaves almost certainly Hebrew oppressed to work for the Depraved Phoaroes though Pharoahs daughter had Natural Goodness and Mercy .This part of the Story has great Poignancy for Peace and was missing .
2. the film is a joke anyway
zionist forever   (12.29.14)
I haven't seen the film although might but all the trailers show this is no biblical epic. Got the young warrior Moses as the hero of the show but last time I looked Moses was an old man by the time he went back to Egypt and the slaves themselves were no warriors. Looks to me they are trying to make some kind of cross between exodus and Gladiator.
3. Movie was funny.
DOV ,   USA   (12.29.14)
In one scene they showed the sphinx in the background with the broken nose. Instead of spending a few minutes on modifying CGI the just overplayed a picture of the existing Sphinx.Christian Bale as Moses talking to a small Welsh boy symbolizing God. COMEDY. No one should take this movie seriously.
4. Wrong reason to ban this movie.
Jerusalem Jew ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (12.28.14)
This movie should be banned because it sucks.
5. Nothing helps advertise a movie as criticism + bans

6. Exodus Movie - is not the reason

Arab nations mostly refuse films that have a Israel/Jewish connection. Funny Girl with Barbara Streisand and Omar Sharif was banned. The Arab and Islamic world will not accept anything with Israel History. While I enjoyed the Exodus movie - it was too far away from the Biblcal story. Only the plague were real. The rest of the story was not. The worst part of the movie is insulting GOD - prayting him as a spoiled 10 year British child. The acting and the action good. Worth seeing, but nothing to do with Exodus.
