1. National Unity
Zechariah   (01.15.15)
Clearly a National Unity is Better . Netanyahu needs a Break .Six years of extreme pressure but he is resilient alot of energy with all that .Still he is moderate amongst the Dadons and Feiglins and knows World opininion has importance .
2. Excellent analysis
(01.15.15)
by Yonason Herschlag FaceBook. Ever since Herzog allied with Livni, he's ignored Lapid. Herzog knows that to form the coalition he will need to cancel the Haredi draft, something Lapid won't agree to. And you are right, Bibi was a fool for teaming with Lapid (and Livni) against Haredim and Bennet.
3. when the campaign starts
(01.15.15)
Until now all we have is attacks on Netanyahu and spin, but what will happen when the campaign starts? If Netanyahu repeats his last performance with attacks on Bennet and admiration for Herzog and Livni, Likud will fall to 12, Bayit Yehudi 24, and Herzog will form the coalition. If Netanyahu discusses policy (what will Herzog give Abbas that Livni did not offer?) and personalities (what experience do Labor MKs have? who isn't corrupt? who supported IDF and who did not?), Herzog will be leader of the opposition.
4. disaster
nadav ,   tlv   (01.15.15)
The Left is responsible for thousands of deaths from terrorism and botched wars since the 1990s! It will be Israel's end if they take over again!
5. Herzog and Livni won't be able to form a government
Jake   (01.15.15)
Netanyahu has not only the Likud, but an entire constellation of natural allies and potential partners. Herzog and Livni are stuck with either Meretz or Lapid.
6. Bibi
Jay Lipman ,   New York, NY USA   (01.15.15)
It's losing, not loosing!!
7. eyes wide open
hy   (01.15.15)
if young israelis vote for herzog, concessions will be made on borders, and livni will race around capitals begging for support where there will be NONE, ZERO. Vote for bennett or israel is Finished. Look at the centre left and ask who has fought in the idf to defend the state. Most of the left either never fouhght in combat or were in roles that had nothing to do with war strategy. I understand most of israel is sick of bibi with his waffling and nervousness. But to vote for livni, who is olmert in a dress, or herzog who has no idea on how to fight and is a pacifist and lapid who never served in combat is madness. vote for bennett or kahlon. Othewise, when israel is destroyed, you can look back and say I should not have voted for herzog!!!!
8. Does anyone seriously want more Oslo Disasters?
Chaim ,   Israel   (01.15.15)
Israel is not a huge country like Russia, America or China. Israel does not have an unlimited ability to tolerate leftist disasters like Oslo. Oslo cost Israel more than 1,500 murdered civilians and more than 14,000 maimed. It is widely regarded as the worst self inflicted wound by any state in history. Does anyone seriously want more Oslo Disasters? If not: vote patriotic right.
9. "Zionist camp" versus Likud??
Chaim ,   Israel   (01.15.15)
There is absolutely nothing Zionist about the wacko Labor Party, which wants to cede Jerusalem and turn Israel into a 9 mile wide concentration camp. It is a total kapo party.
10. Fair comparison: Add Jewish Home to Likud
Chaim ,   Israel   (01.16.15)
Labor plus Hatnua may temporarily lead Likud. We are talking about two parties. To make it fair; add Jewish Home to Likud. Patriots are ahead of suicide leftists in the election.
11. How much of a poll is this poll?
Moshe the Genuine   (01.15.15)
The polls (the real ones not the one cooked for the public) the which are currently circulating are showing Likud around 25 seats and Labor at 21 seats.
12. If you take a poll with Leftists and Arabs, of course
Chaim ,   Israel   (01.16.15)
Netanyahu is losing. Whom are you fooling?
13. The choice: Zionism or right wing barbarism?
Avramele   (01.15.15)
Bibi and the right never run for anything, only against something. In their negative campaign the smears against the left and center will come fast and loose. Desperation will make Bibi and company a parody of itself. Bennett, Liberman and Otzma will offer racist sauce to the stew. The choice is between zionism and barbarism. tivchur chayim!
14. Netanyahu is an embarassment
Mark Jeffery Koch ,   Mount Laurel, NJ USA   (01.16.15)
Jews around the world are hoping and praying that Israelis choose someone else other than Netanyahu as Israel's next Prime Minister. American Jews, those of us who love Israel and are not extreme right wing, believe that Netanyahu is an embarassment for Israel and Jews everywhere and there badly needs to be a change in leadership in Israel. Netanyahu is more concerned about Netanyahu than he is about Israel and unless Israel wants to behave like its Arab neighbors and have a leader for life it will elect someone new who has a vision for the future and who is not so self obsessed as the current Prime Minister obviously is. Re-electing Netanyahu will guarantee that Israel's position on the world stage will continue to deteriorate. It's time to elect someone who can stop the decline and promote a vision and accomodation with its neighbors instead of the incessant non stop saber rattling Netanyahu who will bring Israel neither security or respect .
15. Leaders during a war or conflict suffer a backlash from ungr
Rivkah   (01.16.15)
ungrateful voters who do not appreciate what Elohim appreciates.
16. A Caveat regarding Polls
Yehudah ,   Israel   (01.16.15)
"It ain't over 'til it's over". Do not assumie that the current state of an event is irreversible and clearly determines how or when the event will end.
17. Ch. 10 is run by the ultra-left
Scott ,   Ramat Gan   (01.15.15)
They'll post the results they want, not what's accurate.
18. The next Government?
Yoel ,   Israel   (01.16.15)
It is definately a time for change- BB should now step aside and give others a chance- I'm afraid BB as made many mistakes and has lost his sense of direction.
19. Hurry up Commissars: Why hasn't "Bibi" already "lost" in
(01.16.15)
your polls??! Reminds of that old joke: "Stalin to the University Dean: what year am I at? Dean:second. Stalin: can't you hurry up a bit?!"
20. Out of date
Shalom ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (01.16.15)
That was on Thursday. On Friday, the latest Smith poll shows that the gap has gone back to just one MK. Today's headline should be: Netanyahu regains ground. Basically, apart from occasional fluctations, there has been no change for weeks between Left and Right.
21. Birnbaum is failing?
dis-B   (01.16.15)
It is our win. Discard poor Bibi as soon as possible!
22. Maybe the people are waking up...?
Eldar ,   Haifa   (01.16.15)
And realizing that the Likud is filled with nationalistic, flag-waving, anti-democratic corrupt fools that embarrass us around the world. Bayit HaYehudi proudly supports Apartheid, Zionist-style, Leiberman has been providing cover for the biggest public-funding scam in history while [also] embarrassing us around the world, and Kahlon, who was smart enough to jump ship, brings on a high-ranking military man who disregarded land law to enlarge his estate... No wonder the left - honest, young, idealistic and well-spoken, preaching democratic, Zionist values, is looking more and more attractive.
23. #13, 14 - Obama's low information mindless followers
Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (01.16.15)
24. #5 Jake
yosef, phd ,   florida-israel   (01.17.15)
Herzog and livni can form Nothing _ as their substance is NOTHING - just empty opportunism. Hopefully the Israeli voters are onto them and the Mediocrity of their being
25. Labor winning??????
Aaron W. Kuperman ,   Baltimore, USA   (01.18.15)
1. The "right" (Likud, Bayit Yehudi, and Yisrael Beitteinu) get the same number as last time. They will need a "center" party (their old friends Kahlon or Lapid), or the hareidim. 2. To form a government, Labor (assuming support from Kahlon and Lapid), plus Mertetz would need either the hareidim, the Arabs, or a right-wing party. 3. The hareidim will demand an end to conscription, or at the least, allow anyone with religious objections to be exempted - though the left might not object if that includes any conscientious objection, and having hareidim and Arabs together would improve the situation for Labor (many of whose members dislike Arabs and Hareidim).
